Tattoos Deluxe

I have gotten all five of my tattoos at this shop and honestly they’re great! I’ve gotten ⁴⁄₅ done by Noah and the other one done by Chris. They’re very talented and they work with what you want. I’ve never had a reason to complain when I go in here. I’ve recommended other friends to this shop and they also got their tattoos with either Noah or Chris and they loved their tattoos!
Both of these guys have great personalities so it won’t be a dull time while you’re waiting for your tattoo to finish up. I’ve seen other artists in there while I was getting my tattoos and they all seem great, so honestly regardless of who tattoos you you’ll walk out loving what you have.
One last thing, they accept walk-​ins pretty much all the time. So if you’re around the area and want a tattoo I would definitely recommend stopping by this tattoo shop.

Greg James is the man. About midway through a colorful sleeve with him and it’s mesmerizing to watch a true craftsman such as him work. The lines were smooth and healed perfectly. He has a very soft touch and a warm and inviting personality that makes the hours in the chair fly by. His color work is astounding, my arm practically glows in the dark with colorful waves of teal and blue water blending together. It’s not a tattoo, it’s a piece of art I wear with pride!
Everyone in the shop seems pretty down to earth and some good banter and humor tossed around always helps. The environment is super clean and you can tell Greg runs a tight ship and emphasizes quality and cleanliness from his team.
I don’t think I could go anywhere else for a tattoo ever again.

Chris Bass did an amazingly beautiful tattoo for me on my right wrist of two red roses with a couple of leafs. It is a cover up of roman numeral letters. The placement of the tattoo was difficult and I was a difficult client to tattoo. I am a small girl with small wrist and low tolerance for pain. He was very patient and creative with the drawing. I am extremely happy with the tattoo, the color is rich and vibrant, none of the ink fell out. I get tons of compliments on it and people never realize it’s a cover up. Needless to say, I am going back to him for another piece.

Greg James is the best artist I know. He can think outside the box to come up with a masterpiece and execute it like no one Ive ever seen. I get so many compliments on the tattoos that Greg has done almost daily even on the oldest ones he has done for me.
I know a lot of great tattoo artists, and they all deserve their accolades, but when it comes time to put ink in my skin, Greg i the person I am going to see. Greg’s use of color and shading is what sets him apart for me. The care and attention to every detail to make the tattoos look great for many years is why i see Greg and Tattoos Deluxe.
I have to brought friends and family to Tattoos Deluxe and even though Greg was busy, they were taken care of my some of the other artists there and came away with amazing tattoo’s that they were very happy with.

Came here last min with my friend to get some spontaneous tattoos. Walked in and Travis was there to greet us and get us all started. he was AMAZING. I chose to do a tattoo I have been wanting for a while now and I am so happy and pleased with it. Will no doubt be coming back here for any other tattoos I will be getting from now on. Noah was so professional. Even though I wanted something small and easy, he still took time to make sure it came out exactly as I wanted. I couldn’t be happier!

I’d been wanting to get Magritte’s Hegel’s Holiday for a while and now that I’m 18 I went in today for it! No appointment, I called around 1 and was told they’d be free in a couple of hours.
I went in around three and was immediately put at ease by the casual manner and cleanliness. I showed Noah my design and told him approximately how big and where I wanted it, and he sketched it up immediately and it looked AWESOME. Throughout the whole time, from applying the stencil to the actual tattooing it was very relaxed, he talked to me and my friend to put us at ease and explain what he was doing. It was quick and turned out incredible, mirroring the original with a lot of skill. ¹¹⁄₁₀ will be coming back for my next one.

While it is probably a good place, DO NOT COME FOR WHITE INK TATTOOS!!!
I got my tattoo done by Cbass and he did not know how to give a white ink tattoo. He used a stencil (you are not supposed to) and the stencil ink leaked into the tattoo ink and left my «white ink tattoo» a blotchy blue and grey. It was a disaster. It also didn’t heal right and ended up being raised. I had to get the tattoo covered at a different place. He also wouldn’t do the tattoo cover up for free, but he was going to charge me full price for the small tattoo again.
I’ve also seen my ex boyfriends tattoos from this place the black is more grey and the lines are sloppy. The color is nice, but it’s not worth spending any money to screw up your tattoo.
I got my next three tattoos (and the cover up) at a place in north Hollywood, electric pen tattoo, by Edge. He since left. That place knows how to give a white ink tattoo (free draw with a highlighter so ink stays pure!) and all the tattoos came out great.
Unless you want to spend money on a bad tattoo, stay away from Tattoos Deluxe.

Called and asked if there were openings today. Of course! Come on in!!! Anyway super cool vibe, friendly and fun artists, totally fair pricing :) and a clean, professional shop all around. Noah did «Totoro» from the Miyazaki film, «My Neighbor Totoro» on my forearm!!! So amazing! Great conversation, and Noah has an amazing touch! Very enjoyable session! I’ll be coming back soon!!! I’ve been getting tattooed by Greg James the last 10 years. I am working on a body suit. I am just amazed how beautiful and awesome his work is! Every time I go in and get work done I’m always in awww on how it comes out when we finish a session. Tattoos Deluxe is such a clean shop. Everyone that works there is super nice and great artists too! Greg is a super nice guy too and makes you feel really comfortable when you get tattooed. I can’t wait for my next appointment!

Chris Bass is the man to see! Me and my man have both received ink from him in very different styles and he completed each one to perfection. He is patient, chill, and down to talk it out until it is not only perfect but a work of art. One of the nicest guys I’ve met in this industry.

Master tattoo artist Greg James worked on a cover up on my leg. I wanted a Japanese mask with flowers. He delivered both in the design, placement, and execution of the tattoo. With decades of experience, Greg does not make mistakes. He applies the right amount of pressure and does not dig in unnecessarily. His application of color and multi layering, creates beautiful colors and amazing depth. The healing was fast and I had no issues. The shop is clean, comfortable, and organized. Everyone working there was professional and courteous. Wether this is your first tattoo or you are a seasoned inked person, you will love this place.

On my recent West Coast adventure, my good friend suggested that we get tattooed while we were in Vegas.
It sounded like a great idea, but I thought about the tattoos I’d seen on people walking down Fremont Street, and I thought maybe we should wait till we were back in LA, so we could go see Noah together.
Noah has done 80% of my tattoo work, give or take. He’s done my ribs, both of my feet and calves, about a quarter of my back and another small piece. He does great work! I love going to see him, because he’s easy to work with, easy to talk to, and generally a great human being.
Since we met back in 2008 or 2007 (!) I’ve referred dozens of people directly to him, and no one has been let down. He’s quick, his hands are light, and he can do anything you want him to do.
This visit was no exception! My sweet friend Eden wanted a little rainbow on her finger, and Noah found a way to do it that will wear well. He warned us that finger tattoos and hand tattoos often fade or work their way out of the skin… he wasn’t looking to take her money and have her come back looking for touch up work every three weeks.
Regardless of what you want done, this shop is full of great talent that can get the job done!
