Established in 1970.

The Poodle Puff has been located in Van Nuys since 1970 on Oxnard at Woodman for 18 years and at the present address on Burbank and Hazeltine since 1990. Unbeknown to Sandy, after relocating, many of the long time customers related how The Poodle Puff was first established on Burbank Blvd, at this very same address for a couple years before the move to Oxnard. This was confirmed by original owner, «Connie,» who came to work for Sandy for a short period before she moved away. In 1996 The Poodle Puff was sold from Sandy to Andy and since then business has been getting better and better and it’s reputation has been building.

At the age of 21 in 2006 Andy bought The Poodle Puff from Sandy and has been running the business successfully every since. Family owned and owner operated, Andy likes to keep things as beneficial to the pets, owners, and employees as best he can. Friendly and knowledgeable, Andy has worked in fields such as retail and customer service since his very first job. Excellent people skills, telephone skills, and a sharp business mind put Andy right where most customers want him to be. In the hearts of their pets and themselves!
