Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Tim McLaughlin began his career in real estate after moving to Los Angeles in 1982.

Having received his Master’s degree in Communications from the University of Cincinnati, Tim developed

Tim is such a pleasure to work, both on a personal and professional level. His professionalism, kindness, communication skills, honesty, confidence… I could go on and on… were extraordinary. This is a long overdue review for Tim McLaughlin and Bailey Cunning. I first turned to the team of Tim and Bailey last April/​May when I had no success with my last agent. I seeked them out since they successfully sold 2 months prior a similar home across the street within 5 days at a higher price than listed. They knew the Studio City/​Sherman Oaks market well and had a strong real estate network and the experience to back them up. They came prepared to our first meeting, complete with beautiful brochures and flyers, comps, and strategy. I knew right then and there that they were the right persons to sell my home. Within the next furious few days, Tim and Bailey helped accent my home, brought in a photographer to take the most amazing Architectural Digest-​like photos, created a website for my place, put up For Sale signs which adhere to my HOA guidelines, and mass-​blasted their network about my home. They knew time was the essence so once the listing went right back up on the MLS, they made sure to get as much foot-​traffic in as possible! Lo and behold, within 5 days of listing, I accepted an offer above list price! And for the next 30-​days, they were on top of all timelines, communicated all updates and issues with me quickly, and made me feel confident and assured during one of the most stressful times of my life. Even months later, Bailey checks in on how I am doing and makes sure that I have the HUD documents required to do my taxes!

I just sold my second property with Tim and once again, I can’t imagine going through the process with anyone else. He worked tirelessly for my wife and I and never seemed impatient with questions we had.

Tim is trustworthy, knowledgeable, hard working and kind. When I bought my house at a time when high numbers of offers weren’t unusual, he patiently took me to property after property until we found the place I wanted. He guided me in ways to make sure I was the winning bid. When I recently sold that same house, he again came up with a sound strategy that enabled me to sell the house with multiple bidders well above asking price. We were starting to lose hope with our first agent, who worked hard but just couldn’t get us into a home. A friend then referred us to Tim, who didn’t even blink at our hopes and desires. He carefully selected properties to view, and within 2 weeks we found exactly what we were looking for. He then followed up with the seller and got our offer to stick. We’ve been in the home for a few years now and are happy to be here, and Tim was instrumental in making that happen.

Tim is a fantastic agent. I was selling my family home in Sherman Oaks while living (and running my own business, and going to grad school, and…) in San Diego. Tim was responsive, professional, and very much on top of negotiations and home inspections and all the various headaches that tend to throw monkey wrenches into the selling process, especially when one is somewhat absentee.
He knew the neighborhood and area, and had connections to local estate liquidators and other realtors with buyers. He also has a professional demeanor of confidence and diplomacy, but entirely without the used-​car-​salesman attitude I’ve run into in other realtors in my life. He gave great advice, and never dismissed my concerns or applied pressure in any way. Highly, highly recommended.
