beware of the office manager here, she somehow has managed to master the art of extracting defeat from the jaws of victory. Balance of staff is cordial, friendly, and welcoming, but try to avoid the dreaded manager, she is not a happy camper, feel a bit sorry for the hard working team that works there

He is the best optometrist I have ever been to. Even after moving over an hour away from the Valley, I still make the little over an hour drive to see Dr. Lee Dodge for all of my eye related needs and problems. He is the best of the best!

Dr. Dodge and staff are the best! I first came here 3 years ago and always have had a great experience. I’ve ordered glasses and contacts here, the staff are very patient when trying to find the perfect frames. Dr. Dodge really takes the time to explain the reason for each part of the exam and really checks in to know what concerns you have. Plus– complimentary water and coffee available!

Dr. Dodge is amazing! He is great with children. I’m very happy with their services. Their whole staff is very nice, accommodating, and friendly. I highly recommend them!

I love this place. The staff is super friendly especially Teddy. His the man, ask for him for assistance. He makes you feel welcomed, at easy and he is always smiling. Dr. Dodge is great. He makes sure you are well taken care of. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend this place for your eye exam, eye glasses.

I found this place through my optometry insurance. I look them up on Unilocal and saw they had good reviews so I made an appointment that is fantastic the doctors grade very helpful not pushy great experience I’ll definitely be returning.

I had a really good experience here. I had some frames that didn’t quite fit my face well. She took the time to explain what she was doing and why. I’ve been wearing glasses for over 30 years and I finally got answers to some of my questions thanks to the knowledgeable team at Visualeyes.

I was referred to Dr Dodge by an old friend of mine who I totally trust. So I am not surprised at how happy I am with the service I have received thus far.
I had a thorough exam and fully trust the doctor’s advice. He is confident and friendly and put me at ease. I’m 50 and getting contacts for the first time. It is a scary endeavor.
Dr Dodge and his staff are all very friendly and professional. They all seem very close to each other and create a warm, friendly environment.
I had to return to the office to make some slight adjustments to my contacts and didn’t need an appointment. The doctor assisted me within minutes of my arrival.
It’s clear they all want to make their clients feel at ease. They clearly provide outstanding customer service.

I am rapidly approaching 40 and my eyes are starting to get a little fuzzy. Part of this is age and part of this an unconscious desire to not see all the bills that come across my desk. So I set my appointment and had a very positive experience. Dr. Dodge explained everything, in easy to understand terms, listened to my concerns and got the job done. The price was reasonable but the retina scan seemed a little pricey but it was better than having drops in my eyes.
Soon after I spent some time trying on different frames and with the guidance of the ladies in the office found a pair that we all thought looked best. Part of the enjoyment was making Suzie and Victoria laugh as I made light of the situation.
A week after receiving my glasses I noticed that one of the lenses wasn’t properly secured in the frame. I do not believe this was an accident, I think that the ladies sabotaged my glasses so I would come back and tell more jokes. Either way, it is always a pleasant experience and I look forward to visiting with them again and I would recommend this office.

We keep coming back because the entire experience is always phenomenal! If you need an eye doctor, come here!

Unfortunately, I have to come here consistently. Fortunately, the entire staff is wonderful and quite frankly I have yet to meet a more consistently helpful or cheerful group in a medical setting.
Dr. Dodge is thorough, friendly and takes his time during the appointments, and so far so good on correcting what ails my eyes and/​or vision.
Really highly recommended, but it must be noted that the parking situation is abhorrent so you are better off parking on the side street off of Moorpark.

Dr. Dodge is friendly and incredibly knowledgable, and he patiently answered all my questions. The front office staff is always helpful and walks you through the pricing.
Parking is tough here (it’s a free lot but it’s always full), but I’ve been going to Visualeyes for a bit over a year and highly recommend! Great frame selection, too.

I can confidently say in the many years that I have been wearing contacts/​eye glasses, this has been the best experience I’ve ever had with an optometrist! Dr Dodge at Visualeyes is very warm and personable and most importantly, he is very accurate and knowledgable! I don’t remember ever having such an ideal, comfortable prescription and his product recommendation was very affordable! He even gave me a free sample (2 week disposable toric contact) to wear and make sure was an ideal fit before I even spent a dime on my contact order. I felt comfortable ordering an ample supply because if my Rx changes, they exchange any unopen boxes for free! I never felt like he or his team was trying to upsell me like many places I’ve been and it is obvious that he cares that his patient’s optimum needs are met, eye health and budget all taken into account!
The Visualeyes team offers warm, enthusiastic customer service from the first time making an appointment, to my awesome, thorough eye tests with Victoria to the excellent service I received from Rochelle in ordering my contacts. In fact, everyone I interacted with in the office was very pleasant. I found them on Unilocal thanks to the great reviews so I wanted to pay it forward by encouraging others to go see them too! You won’t be sorry!!!

This was my first optometrist in Los Angeles when I moved down from Seattle. I went to «the Optometrist down the street» when I lived in Sherman Oaks and have continued to return even when I moved to Hollywood and then down to Marina del Rey. I am beyond satisfied with the service and professionalism of the front office staff and am confident the care of my eyesight could not be treated better anywhere else. They have a wide variety of glasses: from what will be covered by your insurance all the way up to Prada. So long as I don’t move down to San Diego or back home to Seattle, I’ll be returning every year!

Best optometrist I’ve been to in 10 years! Extremely friendly staff that makes sure you’re comfortable. The girl at the desk even made fresh cookies for the waiting patients. Dr. Dodge is very knowledgeable, easy to interact with and has a great sense of humor.
Side note: if you order a year long dually of contacts, they’ll deliver them to your house. So convenient!

Dr Dodge is the best. So approachable and knows his stuff. Plus he volunteers his time to help others. What a great combo. Rochelle and the office staff are great too. Highly recommended. Nice selection of high end frames, but Dr Dodge and team are definitely the highlight.

I am writing this updated review with my new peepers. Everyone here did all they could to make sure I had glasses that were perfect. They sent my glasses back for new lenses and even gave me a pair of courtesy glasses while I waited. If I did not see so well I would swear I was at one of those fancy luxury car dealers down the street.
Good glasses are not cheap, so why skimp on your vision?

I have been coming to this office since 1998 and started out seeing the previous owner, Dr. Stein. While I was skeptical when I heard he was retiring, he guaranteed me that the new doctor, Dr. Dodge was excellent. And boy was he right.
Dr. Dodge has been the primary optician here for close to ten years now I believe. He is not only a very caring man that instantly puts you at ease, but a great doctor. His office staff is also very nice as well, especially my favorite, Rochelle.
Also, two other gals at my office go there and love him as well. Go to Visual Eyes Optometry! Seeing is believing! (Ok, that was nerdy)

Visualeyes Optometry is an amazing office. Their staff and customer service are topnotch. I totally see why it gets 5 stars.
You are greeted by the receptionist. They offer you water, coffee, and cookies. Appointments are on time.
Claudia, the assistant is super cute. She’s very kind, patience and incredibly soft spoken that you kind of want to fall asleep. But you have to keep your eyes open for these exams. Hahaha. My brain was conflicted.
Brenda reminds me of the comedian, Kristen Schaal. She informs you of your options in a way that she seems genuinely helpful and also cynically mocking you. It was very amusing. Don’t get me wrong though. She is very professional and knows exactly what your best options are.
Lastly, Dr. Dodge is cool. He has two last names for goodness sake. Right below having two first names. He makes you feel like family although he doesn’t remember you. Which is not his fault, he sees thousands of people a year. Very professional, relatable, informative, class act.
