We are a high end tattoo studio that provides the highest quality sterilization via a Statim autoclave, and cross contamination training. We have the most experience in body piercing in the area and use only implant grade materials for initial piercings. We have a comfortable environment and friendly staff.

History

Established in 2009.

Modified Design was started by Rickey Wheeler in late 2009. The idea was to build a tattoo studio where art, not money, was the main focus. As well as having an environment that made customers feel comfortable, not nervous. Rickey wanted a studio where even soccer moms could feel safe and at ease, not just bikers. Modified Design has been working very hard to take the tattoo scene in Grayson county to the next level, including sterilization, piercing techniques, attitudes, and quality.

After tattooing for 5 years in other shops Rickey just couldn’t find one in Grayson county that he felt was up to his standards. So when the chance to by Tribal Nations fell in his lap he swooped it up in a heart beat. He fired the old crew and remodeled the entire place and hired an amazing staff to help him take on the crowds. It’s been two years now and the shop is stronger than ever and still growing.
