Awesome toy store! This place is one of the few that carry decent yo yo’s! Nice staff too! Prices are high but if your looking for low prices you shouldn’t be going to local retail stores. They have demo models to try out too!

The best toy store I have ever visited and I have visited my share. I love that they have games and toys all over the store to sample and play with. My kids absolutely love visiting here and could spend hours just playing.
They wrap anything you buy for free which is seriously important when you are on your way to a party and your running late and forgot to buy a gift. Plus they have a very unique style to their wrap and it’s fun to be at a party and you can tell right away when someone has shopped art MudPuddles.
In addition to all those fun things, they have some of the most unique merchandise I have seen. They really try hard to avoid the super common items that you can purchase at any Target or Walmart instead focusing on high quality award winning toys!

Mudpuddles is a lovely small business full of an array of toys catering to ages 1 to 99 years. The selection and quality of all their products will last a very long time. Located in Sherwood in the same shopping lot as Safari Sam’s, I highly recommend this toy store. I have two small children and they love this place! Several small tables are set up throughout the store where your children can play and try out new toys.

I love Mudpuddles. I was able to pick up a couple of games that will work good for my husband to use with our church’s youth group. The service is beyond compare and I love that they gift wrap!

This is my go-​to place for board games for young and old, alike! They have very knowledgeable staff who actually sit down and show me how each game is played. That way, I can make my purchases knowing exactly who will like what!

I love this store! I am lucky enough to live near all four of my grandchildren and I enjoy shopping at Mudpuddles for them. During the Christmas season, I took them each to the store, and had them make a «wish list» which was provided and put in a folder, by the store to access later when the children were not around. The store provides an area where the kids can try out games before you purchase them and they also have many scheduled activities throuout the year. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Free gift wrap, friendly staff, great merchandise… what more could you ask?

As an early childhood educator for twenty years I can’t say enough good about this toy store. QUALITY and EDUCATIONAL toys at reasonable prices. What a treasure to have such a high caliber toy store in little town of Sherwood. Kuddos!

As a grandparent who has grandchildren in NY, I use Mud Puddles to ship gifts to them. The staff always knows the latest and greatest games and toys. Love all of the Connect toys for the «engineer» type kids-​impressive. The owner, Kate, is fabulous-​knowledgeable, community minded and fun! I also buy for Healthy Start and nieces and nephews! We love Mud Puddles!

We’ve been shopping at Mudpudles in Sherwood for several years and love this whimsey toy-​land! Most recently we shopped there with the Sherwood Cash Mob and their service and toy selection was outstanding yet again, all while being in a busy setting with cash mobbers all around. The staff is always helpful and friendly, they have samples of all the toys out to play with and the selection is impressive! The store is filled with quality learning toys, books, boardgames, unique fun and toy experts always available to be of assistance! It’s a great place to shop for every occasion, holiday or party. They even offer a calendar of events which include a variety of opportunities such as reading and craft events to take your children to. Another thing we love is that Mudpuddles offers FREE gift wrapping with many paper choices! SO convenient when popping by for a gift!

Not only one of the best toy and game stores, but one of the best stores around. The selection is wonderful and shows outstanding attention to detail on the part of the store’s buyers. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and helpful. You’ll be sure to find the right item for the age and interest you’re shopping for.
The game section is one of the finest you’ll find anywhere. There’s a broad selection appropriate for all ages and interests. Most of the games have open samples so you can sample the play and rules to see if the game is right for you or the person you’re shopping for.

Worth a drive to discover and explore. Mudpuddles is a shining example of a local independent merchant worth supporting.

Mudpuddles is a great toy store. They have a fantastic selection of books, educational toys, and just plain old fun toys. Before I entered I was skeptical because it is located in a rather run down strip mall. Once inside the store I was amazed by all the cool stuff they have!

A trip to Mudpuddles is always a great time for my daughter and I. Not only to they have great educational toys, but the women who work there are always very friendly and helpful. It is slightly more expensive then going to target and picking up a toy, but the experience and awesome stock is totally worth it!

Great independant toy store. I have gotten several items for my son here over the years and have always enjoyed the shopping experiences and my son always enjoys the toys!

I stopped in to get a gag gift for a friend and was astonished at the selection. Yes, as some posters have mentioned the cost of the toys is slightly higher than Toys-​R-​Us, but for the cost of gas and time, it’s better for me to purchase toys for my nieces and nephews from here. They offer some mainstream toys, but you can also find unique educational toys. What I think is best (about Mudpuddles) is the selection of games they offer.
Finally, both women working at the store knew their inventory well and offered great advice. They weren’t pushy and actually cared to have a conversation with a customer. It was evident they know their toys, too.
I’ll actually be stopping by tonight to get one of my niece’s 8^th birthday presents.

A somewhat expensive toy store with the largest selection around.

Top toy store in Oregon. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is not a warehouse store — this is a store for great toys, innovative toys, thought developing toys, old school toys, wood toys, hands-​on imagination provoking toys! You won’t find barbie here but you will find a variety of dolls with positive female images.
Great little book section full of books to help develop good readers.
Lots of toys are set out as demos so you can see how your little ones interact with them and which games/​toys they gravitate towards.

I have to say that the biggest win for me is that it’s a toy store that isn’t a chain and it’s close to home (at least for me). Being the father of a small football team of my own, it’s nice to have somewhere you can just drop by without a big ol’ drive in the family gas guzzler. The kids can run around, play with toys, and generally just enjoy themselves in a way more friendly atmosphere then you’ll get at any Toys R Us or similar large toy store.
The selection is actually really good and the employees are both helpful and nice (contrary to some of my experiences at that misshapen giraffe’s toy store). Only downside that prevented me from going 5 stars on this one is that some of the toys are somewhat overpriced, which I know often comes with an independent shop fighting against the corporate machine but… I AM a parent of 4 so I have to consider costs of everything I do. It doesn’t stop me from purchasing here, just gives me a slight pause… then I realize that I’ll spend $ 50 in gas just driving somewhere else and hand over my debit card.

A friend in Sherwood turned me on to this place a few years back and it is by far my favorite toy store. It is a bit out of the way unless you live in the surrounding area, but if you are near Sherwood, it is well worth a stop.
It is in the same complex as Safari Sam’s (where I have been to more birthday parties then I can count), so you can always sneak off for some shopping while the little ones play. They have a nice selection of books and a wide range of toys… not just the usual stuff.
I’ve ended up getting most of my baby gifts here (I am a sucker for Robeez) and they gift wrap for free. Before my kids got sucked into the Pokemon universe, this was the place they always wanted to go to spend their birthday/​Christmas dough.
