Cameron Park Christian Center

History

Established in 1988.

Founded in 1988 by Pastor Bobby C Jones, the church began in an old Forestry Building in Placerville, CA then later moved to meeting in a local gymnasium. Since the late 1990’s they built a beautiful facility in Cameron Park, CA and have grown to be a strong multi-​generational church. As of February 23, 2014 Bobby Jones retired from full time ministry after serving Cameron Park Christian Center for 25 years and the church membership elected his son Rev. Robert Jones to serve as the new Senior Pastor. We believe that GREAT DAYS are ahead for our beloved church and we would be thrilled for you to join us on this great life journey!

Meet the Manager

Manager

Rob began full time ministry at age 19 and after 26 years of ministry he has served as a missionary to Spain, having planted churches and served in a variety of ministries including lead pastor, family ministry, administration, leadership development, small groups and media.

Rob has a B.A. degree in Church Leadership from Bethany University and is an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God. He is currently in the process of obtaining his Master’s degree. Rob is known for his humorous yet thoughtful preaching style.

Having visited 42 states and 8 countries he loves traveling, dining out, coffee shops, bookstores, sports and the great outdoors. Rob loves alpine backpacking, cross country skiing, golf and collecting antique bibles and books and has extensively researched his family history hundreds of years.
