In 1997, Bob started a small design business creating home design ideas and small commercial TI’s in El Dorado County and surrounding areas.
On July 1, 2010, the California State Water Control Board order number 2009−0009-DWQ went into effect. This order established the requirement for a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan be prepared on all construction projects which disturb one acre of land or more, or construction projects which are part of a larger development which have any disturbed land. Further, when California adopted its new Green Code, CALGREEN, the requirement for a SWPPP was extended to all projects.
In 2011, Bob expanded his business to include stormwater management, including SWPPP design and implementation, stormwater QSP inspections, and other water pollution control planning. The reason for expanding his company was to help contractors, homeowners, and developers comply with the laws of California.
