The Cedar Garden, Inc.

On February 13^th, 2016 I proposed to my girlfriend in Surf City, NJ. I tried to order a vase of flowers from Cedar Garden Inc., with instructions to leave on the outdoor shower bench. The plan was to have my girlfriend walk in the shower, see the flowers, then turn around and see me down on my knee. I arrived at the house, the flowers were not there. I thought they were just backed up since it was Valentine’s Day weekend. Hours later, I receive a text message from the driver saying «Freezing temps. Can not leave outdoors.» This would have been nice to know the day before when they received my instructions to leave the flowers outdoor.
(didn’t care if they died anyway, It was just for the presentation)
Needless to say, I thought up another less romantic idea and got the proposal done. Later on, called the shop, Gail answered. Told me what the driver told me. Since my plan was soiled, I replied, «Ok, can you just cancel the order and refund me then?» She answered, «You’re ridiculous,» then hung up on me.
Not sure who taught her customer service, the worst thing you can do is hang up on a customer!
Anyway, I will be coming back down to LBI this summer and plan on stopping in The Cedar Garden shop, to speak with Gail in person. I just want to make her feel like an assface for bringing my fiancé and I down from our engagement high…
