My New Years resolution is to keep going to the gym! I go 5 days a week and I am consistent. I say this because my goal this year is to eat, I mean eat a lot! I was heading home from work and I decided to give Mr. Pizza a try. Since Pathmark went out of business there was plenty of parking. When I walked into the pizzeria it was long and narrow with a very simple look to the place. The tables were not wiped down, crumbs were on most of the tables, but I made my way to the counter anyway. The bathroom is right next to the counter so using it for anything other then a number 1 is a no, no. I looked over there small selection of slices and I picked two. I am simple, it’s always a parmigiana slice or buffalo slice that I get, so of course I got both, I’m so bad at choosing. But I made the right choose! Both slices are impressive, the crust had some crunch to it and the chicken on both are great. I loved the buffalo slice a lot. It had some kick to it but it was still good. I will come again. It’s not in my top 5 pizzas spots but I would put it in my top 10! Wait come to think of it, do I really have 10 pizzerias that I like?

Picked up a few slices. Reasonable prices and the staff was very polite. Good pizza.

One of the better pizza places out there. They use the correct amount of cheese and the crust is pretty much the correct thickness for Neapolitan… not like a matzo like most places are making today, but could be a bit thicker. Old timers from Brooklyn will know what I mean :) Sauce very good too and you dont have cheese oil dripping all over the place!

We had this pizza delivered over in Mastic, and while it took about 45 minutes it was well worth the wait! What came to the door was a delicious, hot, half-meatball all-glory pizza pie. The six garlic knots on the side were also pretty great. It all cost about $ 20, which is enough pizza for a family of four for dinner or a family of two for a few days. This place should be called Dominic’s Dr. Pizza.

As a reviewer stated in a Mama Lisa Unilocal,«In a place saturated with pizza places», that is Mastic/Shirley…Anyway hands down Mama’s is the best in the area, but living in Brookhaven just west of Shirley I’m sometimes a tad lazy to head to Mama Lisa’s so just on a whim I gave Domenic’s a chance. Wow I was presently surprised this was a really good pizza. I would certainly rate it #2 in the area. Growing up in Shirley I have just about tried them all. Only down side is you have to go into the Pathmark shopping center, you 80’s kids remember when that place was a mall? They seem to do good business but I think they would do much better in another location… Another plus is like many these days they deliver they even come to my place in Brookhaven. Give them a try I don’t think you will be disappointed.
