This used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area mostly because it was the only one we knew of other than Chang An (which you can’t even call Chinese food). We stopped going here because the buffet was consistently cold, running out and just not good. The service was almost always bad even though we were such loyal customers.

Celia S was dead on.
The pickup location is pretty sketchy, I also tripped on the stairs, and also experienced the baby hanging out.
The orange chicken was all breading, dense, and no one liked it. The dumplings were ok I guess. Crab Rangoon were average. Hot and sour soup has some really strange textures and an odd taste, so I stopped eating it.
Kicker was zero fortune cookies, but I don’t need one to tell me to steer clear.

Rarely have I eaten worse Chinese food. The dumplings, my bellweather for a new restaurant, were doughy with chewy centers. Pad Thai was barely adequate, but the General Gao’s chicken was about 4 to 1 breading to tough, dry something — I suppose it could have been chicken. We had gone hoping to eat there, but it’s basically a takeout place, there was no air conditioning and the temperature approached 100 degrees, and there was a wailing infant in a playpen next to the counter. In addition, it’s not accessible, having to walk up a steep, crumbly incline followed by stairs. My husband almost fell by the time he go to the door. Never again.

I want to like this place because of the convenience factor, but it is not very different from the chinese food you’d find at the mall or on the beach. I’m not sure what that means to you, but to me it means that everything kind of tastes the same, and there is nothing unique about anything.

Great food for the area. They are always willing to accommodate what you want and always nice about it. The food comes out quick and they are open later than all the other places (that we’ve found). We have gone here at least 5 – 6 times since moving here.

Better of the take-out Chinese in the area. Cheaper and the food tasted fine.
The flavor seemed more like a mix of Chinese and Korean, which my family favored over the standard Chinese restaurants in the area. We ordered the sweet General Tso’s Chicken and loved it, as well as the lobster shrimp which was generous with the large shrimp and the sauce actually tasted lobster-like. The Wonton Soup had an interesting flavor, a pork or chicken broth seasoned with a Chinese blend, and the wontons which were very large. The fried chicken wings were a little on the small side but homemade and very flavorful. The refried rice was a little dark and dry so maybe they can improve on that. The only thing that tasted like it came out of freezer box were the egg rolls.
We did like the fact they had kids menu with fries, and they serve a limited Thai menu also.

We have only eaten here twice, and while the food isn’t too bad, we weren’t wowed either. It’s basic, run-of-the-mill Chinese food. Appetizers are notably small in size (the chicken fingers are more like chicken nubs), portions are average, and the menu is slightly more expensive than other nearby Chinese eateries.
When I tried to order sushi, I was told that the guy who makes it wasn’t there, and that he is only there on certain days. On top of that, they recommended I place a sushi order earlier in the day so they could «put it in the fridge» for me. Uh? Needless to say I haven’t bothered trying their sushi…
The only plus is it is one of the few places that actually delivers to us.
