My husband and I were having issues getting pregnant. I went to see Cathy to see if there was anything that could be done for our fertility issues. I was not ovulating and my cycle was irregular. After some acupuncture treatments and herbs, I am now way more regular and am ovulating. We have not gotten pregnant yet but I am in way better shape toward getting there. Cathy is patient and kind. She is also professional and wants to work with any information that can be provided by your doctor to help with your condition. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I started seeing Cathy a few months ago for plantar fasciitis (heel pain). I had never tried acupuncture before but was anxious to get back to running after a long hiatus. For over a year, I had unsuccessfully tried various treatments including physical therapy, several visits with a podiatrist, cortisone shots, custom orthotics, and surgery. Nothing helped.
However, in the time I have seen Cathy my pain has been dramatically reduced. I anticipate returning to running soon. I highly recommend her — she is a great listener, explains everything well and has gone out of her way to make some helpful suggestions to get rid of the foot pain. I have been receiving weekly to bimonthly acupuncture treatments from Cathy DeGeorge since November of 2010. Prior to seeing her, I had never received acupuncture before. I had some anxiety about the process of the treatments and what type of results I could expect. I have had great results and been hooked since my first treatment. I now extol Cathy to every one I know!
Cathy has such a fun and relaxed demeanor that I can’t help but feel perfectly comfortable when I’m around her. She is a great listener and thorough in her exams. Even when I’m vague and uncertain about where my pain is coming from, Cathy can zero in and find just the right spot. –I think she has just the right mixture of clinical expertise and intuition.
I have received acupuncture, moxa, and Chinese herbs to treat TMJ, facial, hand/​wrist, and foot pain. Regular acupuncture and daily herbs have been vital to keeping my body pain-​free. I love my treatment sessions with Cathy and always look forward to them. During and after my sessions, I feel the most profound relaxation. –Nothing else has compared.

I’ve been receiving treatment from Cathy for about a year and this has been my second experience with an acupuncturist. The treatment I receive is a critical peice in the maintainence and pain management for my back, depending on whether my congenitally deformed facet joint is currently inflamed or not. If not, acupuncture along with an herbal supplement I take are the only two things I’ve found that can successfullykeep my joint from flaring up. When it is flared up, Cathy is able to significantly reduce my pain, basically for the few weeks it takes to set up my next cortisone injection. To put in perspective, if I go in with pain between 7 and 8, she can reliably bring me down to a 3 or 4 (typical scale doctor’s use to measure your pain from 1 to 10, 10 being worst imaginable). It is truly amazing to be honest. When it is really bad I go in twice a week, when it is better once a week or sometimes less. And when I say really bad, I mean that I am missing work, I can’t help out with chores around the house, I can’t walk for longer than 10 min without aggrevating my back, pretty bad.
She is very caring and thorough, each session starts with a discussion about how I am doing, how I felt after the last treatment, and then we discuss what treatment we should use depending on what’s currently going on with my back. She is very good with her needles, very gentle.
Cathy is an incredibly talented acupuncturist and I could not recommend her more.
