Purrfect Cat Boarding has been a family run business since 2000. We started with 11 cages and now have the space to comfortably take care of up to 80 kitties! We are passionate about our business, your cats comfort and your peace of mind is our top priority. We love Purrfect Cat Boarding. Why? Simply because they gave us back the ability to take a vacation again!
Our cat is an abused rescue that we took in almost 10 years ago. He’s always had a hard time with change, other animals, and generally being away from his people.
We’ve hired someone to stay with him at the house full-​time and part-​time. He went on a hunger strike or a peeing-​on-​everything strike. We tried other boarding facilities. He got so stressed he was symptomatic for months and required anti-​anxiety meds — it was AWFUL for him and we felt so bad.
We were close to accepting the fact that while he was with us, we were going to have a hard time leaving. We decided to try Purrfect Cat Boarding 2 years ago and have used them ever since with complete success. Our cat obviously prefers being home with us and doesn’t eat as much or maintain as normal bathroom habits while he’s there, but the minute we get home again — he’s totally back to himself.
Thank you Gordon and Rachel for creating a comfortable environment where cats like our big orange tabby can feel safe and we feel good about leaving!

Amazing. We found Purrfect Cat Boarding through a few google searches, when we were moving to the area and our house would not be ready for a few weeks.
They took amazing care of our two cats. Todd & Fe looked more relaxed than I have seen them in years, and I’m honestly not sure they wanted to come home.
Very professional, and happy to answer questions from nervous pet parents no matter how often they’re called. Reasonable rates, especially for long term stays, and they’re so willing to cater to special needs.
It is hard to find a good boarder. I’m glad we got lucky and found an excellent one right off the bat.

I used this boarding facility for the first time recently. I was happy with the service I received. However, they have four rooms for holding cats, and all rooms are not created equal. Some rooms have air conditioning or at least good circulation; others not so much. Some cages are larger than others. My two cats ended up in one of the nicer rooms/​cages, next to a window, so I was happy with that — but I would not have been as happy had they ended up in a room with less air flow. I also think that the cost is a little high, given that cats (on the first day at least — longer is a bit different) spend all their time in a small cage and really don’t require much attention. The price might be comparable to others in the area though; I didn’t call around. I chose this facility because I was moving locally, it was nearby, and I wanted to have my cats out of the house during that time. I would go here again if I needed short-​term cat care and/​or couldn’t hire a drop-​in pet sitter for whatever reason.

I found Purrfect Cat Boarding for my mom’s cat to stay so we could take a little trip for 4 days. My mom is quite over protective of her kitty so she was nervous.
We instantly felt relief when we got there, you can see they are running a tight, clean ship with a friendly, easy atmosphere. The experience was great and we are so happy that we can take our trip next year knowing that kitty Meghan will have a great place to stay!

Rachel and her staff at Purrfect Cat Boarding took incredible care of my three cats while I was traveling on a road trip across country. Miss Kitty suddenly became very ill while I was thousands of miles away. Rachel at Purrfect Cat’s transported Miss Kitty to her regular vet and then to the emergency vet for the care she needed. Purrfect Cat’s staff medicated her as prescribed and kept in good contact with me while Miss Kitty’s health crisis was resolved. Purrfect Cat’s was able to provide isolation so that Miss Kitty could continue healing once she was released from emergency vet care.
In the nine years Miss Kitty, Star and Moon have been with me, I have never had to board them. It was so scary to know that my beloved cat was so sick and I couldn’t be there but I was comforted by the knowing that Purrfect Cat Boarding was doing all they could to help Miss Kitty pull through.
Miss Kitty is better now and all three cats are happily back home.

Purrfect Cat Boarding was very accommodating of our cats when we boarded them over a long weekend. We were lucky that a larger private suite was available for them to share, as they are very attached to one another and we felt much better leaving them knowing that they would be paired together in the same place. The staff who met them was great, very friendly and loving. When we returned, the person working didn’t realize we would be there to pick them up (not sure where the mixup was), then she gave us the wrong total for payment until my husband corrected the math. She did not look familiar to my husband who handled the visit, reservation, and drop-​off, so maybe she was just filling in for someone. At any rate, our cats were comfortable when we picked them up, though it was obvious they would prefer to be at home vs. being somewhere else. Boarding won’t work for every cat, but if yours will tolerate it, this is a good place to try.

I love when Tyler takes me to Purrfect Cat Boarding. In fact, I usually don’t want to go home with my human when he comes to pick me up because everyone at Purrfect treats me so well.
The staff are so nice and keep me well fed and make sure that if I need any special accommodations, I am taken care of. This is good for me because I like to have a little Omega-​3 mixed in with my food so that I can maintain a nice shiny coat.
The cages at Purrfect are well sized and are always kept clean, with opaque dividers between them so that I can have my privacy when I’m in my room. What I like best about Purrfect though is when I get play time. Sometimes I get to play with other kitties and make new friends!
I am glad that there is a place that my human can take me when he travels and am also glad that Purrfect Cat Boarding always has space, because sometimes Tyler has to leave on trips on very short notice and Purrfect is always able to take me in.

I finally signed up for Unilocal just to add another positive review to the chorus of praise for Purrfect Cat Boarding! They made it possible for me to get through an incredibly rocky move without traumatizing my very shy kitty, and for three days of boarding WITH pick-​up and drop-​off I was only out $ 100 total! The staff are friendly and easy to deal with and I would recommend this business to anybody who needs a safe place to put their furry friend.

Um, I’m pretty sure these guys are angels.
I had to be out of my house because I was having my floors refinished and the varnish is toxic. As contractors tend to do, there was a last minute schedule change and Purrfect Cat Boarding was EXTREMELY accommodating. I also didn’t bring my checkbook and didn’t have enough cash to pay when I got there (my brain is just about as organized as my house!) and she let me pay when I picked up my fur children. I thought it was extremely reasonable, I paid $ 26 for three cats for one night.
On top of all of that, they did a great job with my cats. One of my kitties is a complete butthole when he goes to the vet or, apparently, when he gets boarded — they understood his hissy fits (literally) and just gave him space and let him holler. The space was very clean and they seemed very organized.
I will definitely use Purrfect Cat Boarding for any future boarding needs (hopefully my cat won’t be such an a-​hole, sorry!!!) and I highly recommend!

I own a pet sitting business in Seattle and sometimes get requests to board cats, but I’m not set up to do that. One day I saw the sign for Purrfect Cat Boarding and decided to stop by unannounced and see what it looked like. I was so impressed with how clean it was and how well organized. Although I’m a lover of all animals, I often find the odor of cat litter boxes pretty offensive. This cattery had NO odor at all. As others have mentioned, the cats get rotated outside their crate every day. There is a private room with a tree to climb and sleeping ledge in a sunny window. The owner is also trained in pet first aid and CPR. I’ve referred numerous clients to Vacation Solutions.

Marla and Jeff are welcoming and do a great job keeping their facility clean. I have taken my cats here for long trips several times, and they have been fine. I have two cats and they share a kennel. The cats take turns getting to play outside of the kennels. Each time I’ve used Purrfect, I have called to make the appointment fairly late in the game, but they have always had room. The price is right, too — less than having someone come to your house. I recommend Purrfect Cat Boarding to anyone who needs to board their cats!

We just had our cats there for 19 days! It was the first time we left our kitties: D It was clean, safe, and very reasonable in price. I had my friend who was in town go and check in on the cats. She is very much a «cat» person and she gave her stamp of approval. :) I will def take my cats here again! Great place and great care!

I had just moved to Seattle and i was waiting on a place to stay while looking for an apartment. I called Marla and Jeff inquiring if they had any available space for my 2 yr old ginger tabby, Buddy. Considering that it was 4th of July week I was so thankful to hear that Marla had one space available. Having never before boarded my cat, I was a bit worried about whether he would be alright in the care of strangers, but walking into Purrfect Cat Boarding and seeing how calm all the tenants were eased my mind with leaving my boy there. Marla and Jeff are great with the cats in their charge as is the rest of their staff, I was so happy with them that even though Buddy’s first stay was short I knew that Purrfect Cat Boarding would be the only place I will board my little one while i live here.

Really great place to board your cat.
I boarded our kitty for 18 days while. When I dropped him off, I got to see the facility, where the kitties stay and the play room. It was great. Very clean, didn’t smell like cat a all. The play room is outfitted with cat trees and toys.
Our cat was well cared for, he had been groomed and the owners are really nice and told me how our cat did.

Purrfect Cat Boarding is the place to go when you want to feel good about leaving your kitty behind. My cat is diabetic and they are wonderful with making sure she’s well taken care of. The environment is clean and cozy and the owners are super nice. We are so happy our Vet recommended this place. HIGHLY recommended!

We called to board Ivan while our carpets were being cleaned. He wasn’t thrilled to go, but Marla’s boarding area was nice and clean and warm and he had a nice little cat condo with a shelf. We put his bed in there and he stayed the day. I checked in with Marla via e-​mail and she responded right away and quelled my cat-​anxiety. Ivan was a little butthole when it was time to go and he hissed at me like i was some stranger off the street, but Marla said lots of cats acted like this. Whether she was making me feel better or telling the truth, idk, but she was very nice and Ivan returned from cat-​jail unscathed.

My husband and I left our two boy cats at Purrfect Cat Boarding for 10 days while we were in San Diego. This was the first time our cats were boarded so we were very cautious about where they stayed. We were very happy with their treatment as the owners have a good regimen which made us very comfortable. Our cats were a bit traumatized and the caretakers knew how to deal with them. When we called in a few times during our vacation, we were given very thorough updates which we appreciated! Good service and good value. Very nice people too!
