Our Driver Training School is Authorized to Administer the Knowledge Test to all our teen students under the age 18 after their completion of the course, free of charge (you save $ 20.00), instead of going to the Dep’t of Licensing office to take the exam.

I was so afraid of driving so my boyfriend paid for lessons for me through Smart driving school. Ruby was positively wonderful and patient with me. I had very little experience before i took my lessons, and he made it so easy to learn and helped me feel confident behind the wheel. I got my license today! Thank you, Ruby!

My son just finished his driving test with Smart Driving School. He also had the classes from Smart DS before. Ruby and his associates have always been very professional, kind and courteous. In my experience with Ruby, one would have to work pretty hard in order to fail at learning how to drive, or successfully pass the driving test! Keep up the great work Ruby!!!

Proof positive! After just 1 private lesson with Ruby less than two weeks ago, my daughter passed her driving test today at Sears* with flying colors, & the instructor said her parallel parking (for which we had esp. hired Ruby) was the best he’s seen in ages (and he’s been instructing for 17 years). He said he maybe sees that good a job 2 in 10 times! Thanks so much, Ruby. You are truly a gem!
*We’d signed up for the test at Sears before we learned of Smart Driving, or we would have tested with Ruby too.

My son took a course throughout the summer here and had such a great experience!
This driving school is a hidden gem in the Shoreline area. Owned and operated by a husband and wife team, my teen got the personal attention and instruction of a very responsible adult. He is now giving me great tips about driving that I was never taught! Also, your teen can take his driving test right after he finishes the course so that is very convenient. Please support local business especially when you get this first rate service!
