Maverik Gas & Country Store

Compared to the other gas stations in Show Low/​Pinetop this one was great. The general exterior and gas pump area is kept clean and new looking. Gas pumping went as well as expected– you paid– you put the nozzle into the gas tank and filled it up until full– put gas cap back on and got a receipt. ⁵⁄₅ experience. Would pump gas here again.

I am an overnight worker who generally stays up at night even when I’m off. I live about 13 miles from town and this place is the closest place to me when I get the midnight munchies, which does happen a lot! It’s a good sized store that’s always very clean, with a friendly staff, and at least 12 – 14 gas pumps and plenty of snacks, sodas, beer, to get you started on your road trip! I think I may head there now!

Best price in town. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff.

So I’m headed home and I needed gas and ice for my cooler.
This is a very new station and was not here last summer when I was here.
A great location because you can stop there on your way to New Mexico or on your way to Flagstaff. I was headed towards Flagstaff.
They have very nice bathrooms. Made for a great pit stop.
The lay out inside is really nice. Who ever is in charge of these stores and putting together their sales floor, knows what they are doing.
My big compliant is that they only had one size of crushed ice for sale. Way to big for my little cooler.
So I put as much as I could into my cooler and was going to just throw the rest away. A guy pulled up in a big pickup truck, who looked like he needed ice. I asked if he needed any ice for his cooler and he said yes because he had a cut up Antelope he just hunted in the back and that he could always use more ice.
This is the type of country I’m in people. I’m used to it.
Gas was cheap. Its always cheaper in Arizona though. I will probably be by here at least once a year from now on.
