Gateway Tire & Service Center

I needed a tire for my vehicle. I always have to special order my tires bc it’s a hard one to find. Thank the Lord they had it in stock at the warehouse. I called about it and an hour later they said it was ready for pick up. They even carried it to my car. Highly recommend.

This is my third visit and I love getting my oil changed here. The guys at the counter are very friendly. There is coffee and popcorn available complimentary in the waiting area. And the prices are very reasonable. They always seem to be busy (because they are very good) so the tv is welcome for the wait.
I did have a slightly less-​than-​stellar experience once. I was in a very big hurry and though my car was done, I couldn’t get my hands on it because the guys couldn’t figure out how to reset the maintenance message on my display screen. I offered to help– I had to how-​to page for my car up, but the guy told me they would get it. Argh! I didn’t really argue and another half hour passed before I said I’d take care of it at home and PLEASE can I go? They gave me the keys. I’m not marking them down a star for this because I don’t think they realized how much I needed to leave. And they clearly wanted to do it for me since I paid for their service– they didn’t want to leave a job unfinished. And resetting my display even has my vehicle’s online forums confused. So it’s understood.
Today I came in and was asked if there was anything else I needed. I said no, and I mentioned that I had a free rotation at Sam’s club later that day. He offered to take care of it for me.
This is definitely the place to come!

Approaching my car after work I realized I had a flat tire. Changed over to a full spare tire and drove to Gateway Tire. They took care of me very quickly and plugged flat tire for free. As a result I’m posting this because of the good customer service I received!

This is the third time I came here at this particular gateway tires for service. Top notch service. Great job guys!!!

I was refunded my money. The manager spoke with me regarding my complaint, and seemed sincere in his desire to fix the problem.

I brought my car in to have the tires balanced, and specifically asked the tech NOT to rotate them, as I had already done that recently. When I picked up the car, the tires were rotated, which was written on the work order. Fail!
They rotated my directional tires to the wrong side of the car, meaning the tires were spinning the wrong direction, thus creating a bad hydroplaning risk. Fail!
It’s a tire shop… You think they’d know this. FAIL!

Very friendly people. Very fast service. Would go here again if I ever need tire repair away from home.

Got an oil change on my 2012 Dodge Challenger really fast with no appointment. Very friendly people. Would definitely recommend.

We drove from Las Vegas to shreveport with a power steering leak, brought my SUV to the base auto-​port and got the run around, I then Unilocaled this place with 5 STARS and thought we’d give it a shot. I’m wrapping up the day here after Gateway changed out our high pressure power steering hose, along with the 6 spark plugs (super hard to get to) and an oil change, these guys here are the business, I’m talking about Craig, Dave,& Matthew and all the employees here are by far the BEST Autoshop in Shreveport. Very decent cost for all the above and obviously the workers here are AWESOME! Look no further, you’ve found the most reliable and integrity based auto shop in Louisiana!

We were passing through Shreveport in a borrowed car, when we heard a terrible grinding noise. Gateway was the closest place. Turns out the brakes had fused with the rotors. It was 45 minutes before closing and the car could not be taken off the lot! Gateway called around and found the parts. One of the mechanics offered to stay late to finish the job. We were out in an hour!
What could have been a terrible situation turned into a surprisingly pleasant one. Everyone at the shop was very kind and helpful. Couldn’t be happier with the service we received.

Blown away by the level of service received today. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. If I ever have tire needs again while I am in town.. this is where I will head.

Good service and prices

Two words you don’t read often, when it comes to any sort of auto or auto repair shop: Honesty and Integrity. The gentlemen at this establishment exemplify both. You will get a very fair deal on whatever it is that you need to have done to your car, anytime you walk through their doors. I have seen them turn away business, not because they were too busy, but because honestly the work did not need to be done to that vehicle. There was nothing wrong with the vehicle in question. How many shops would do that? I know of many that would not only accept the work (even though it’s not needed), and then charge up a premium to do the service. Gateway is fair. They do not gouge the customer. Instead, it is quite the opposite. My wife also uses their services and she has never, ever had a bad experience, only extreme positives. You can trust Gateway both for their tires and their very friendly and professional service!
