Needed to find a sweatshirt from C. E. Byrd High School. Heard they had them. The manager was so kind so to let me order it over the phone. He even went to the post office and sent it himself! Haven’t had that kind of service anywhere in years. Thank you Lee.

Worst pharmacy ever. The drive through line takes so long it is criminal. They never have the medications in stock and are very rude and unhelpful!!! Use Rite Aid on Line and Pierremont! They are much friendlier!

Very unprofessional pharmacist(Pearlenne Dillard). Attempted to pick up a prescription for my sick husband and found it was not ready secondary to some missing information left on the recording from the doctors office. Because it was Saturday, and I knew they wouldn’t get ahold of the office, I asked if I could just re-write the prescription. I am a physician, however I try to avoid writing anything for my family. In this instance, my husband had already been waiting 24 hours for his medication and I wanted to get him feeling better. She refused to allow me to hand her a prescription and told me I needed to call it in. Irritated, I obliged and chose the option of speaking with the pharmacist. She then told me to leave a message because she wasn’t going to talk to me. Probably too many details… just wanted to portray that I was very disappointed and my family will not be using this pharmacy anymore. I will also suggest my patients avoid using it as well. Try Medic pharmacy on Line(just down from Walgreens), they are very kind and helpful.

This Walgreen’s is built on the bones of the old comic book store, Excalibur, that I used to while away my days inside, so I do feel a little hint of nostaliga whenever I drag myself down its fluorescent aisles all abuzz. They have most of the things you could want there, and probably some of the things you don’t. It becomes choked up with Byrd high school students in the afternoons and crowds of moms and dads at the Redbox machine at night. I once helped capture a snake in the parking lot and was rewarded not at all by the manager despite my bravery. It closes at nine PM so be quick, prince with a thousand enemies, be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed. ATM inside.

Slow pharmacy service. Unhelpful and often rude staff. Got the run-around one time trying to pickup a prescription for my wife; ended up being told that they hadn’t received the prescription from the doctor. Called our doctor up, had the script sent to another pharmacy, where I was told that they couldn’t fill it because our insurance had already paid for the script at Walgreens. Went back to this Walgreens to pick it up. No apology given even when I pointed out what the trouble they had caused. I ended up wasting 2 and a half hours driving around town to pick up this prescription. There are much better pharmacies all over the Shreveport-Bossier area, including other Walgreens; this one has lost me as a customer.
