Rattled. Just went into banana republic and as assisted by an egregiously over aggressive saleswoman. The input on clothing: thank you. Asking me 15 times whether I want to open a credit card? Not so much. I gave this lady every excuse under the sun and even said flat out«No» more than once. «But you’re getting so much stuff! It makes sense!» Sorry lady 1. $ 200 doesn’t qualify as «so much stuff, 2. I don’t need to bang my credit score to save $ 30 on a credit card with stupidly high interest rates. Give me a break.

This is the absolute BESTBR store on the East coast! I searched for a couple of hard to find items and found them at their store a couple of weeks ago. Not only did they have the items on hand, but their prices were INCREDIBLE and they shipped them to me super-fast! This is my new go-to store when I can’t find items locally or online. Very friendly team!

Oh the joys of being watched! I left without buying anything. How uncomfortable! I thought it was just me until I caught her in the mirror patting me down with her eyes. Even looking at the stroller. My first time there and my last!

This store is THE worst. Beginning with misleading sales practices and ending with inept and rude store manager, we will never shop this location again. A small amount of consideration would have resulted in an acceptable experience. Instead, demeaning and insensitive attitude of manager caused us to walk out, leaving $ 700 worth of merchandise on the counter. Fortunately our short walk to lucky brand jeans resulted in buying better goods in an excellent customer friendly store.

I think there is an Asian gene that attracts me to Banana Republic(or BR for you newbs). Anyway, right inside The Grove which is a pretty swanky shopping center/mall. I guess it’s like the Tysons II of Eatontown, NJ. Anyways, came here when more than half the store was on sale. SCORE! I had to buy a button down(for going out to NYC for the weekend) and a new track jacket for the Spring… ended up picking up new sunglasses as well(orig. $ 80 marked down to $ 25). LOVESAVINGMONEY!

It’s your typical Banana Republic store, what more can be said? The location(in the Grove shopping center) can sometimes be overbearing and a bit hard to park, but generally it’s not too bad. Most of the staff is extremely nice and helpful. They’ll get you different sizes, colors and complementary items while you’re in the dressing room. They’ll take the stuff you want up to the counter so you can continue shopping unencumbered. But the best thing about this place? That bitch Tiff doesn’t work here anymore.
