This photographer recently took the group picture for our 50th class reunion. The photo itself turned out very nicely, but it had the wrong date on it(October, rather than September when the event occurred). Rather that doing the obvious, professional thing and automatically replacing the photos, the photographer asked whether he had to redo them and whether it was acceptable to leave them as they are. When he was told it was not acceptable, he then said he’d replace any photos where a classmate specifically requested him to send a replacement with the correct date reflected. This was highly unprofessional. A reputable photographer who charged $ 20 for each photo would never have asked about replacing the photos, but would have simply admitted his mistake and stepped to the plate to replace them.
