I can not say enough positive things about this place! The chicken chili is my favorite. I travelled from Florida for three days and had to have it twice while here. The lettuce wraps are also out of this world. The location is tiny, so plan ahead of you want to bring more than four people. Other than that, nothing bad to say!

Good consistent food. The peanut shrimp wrap with peanut sauce is delicious. The soups are always good.
Beware, the soup is served extremely HOT.
Ice tea is overrated. Order water.
The restaurant is small and the staff is grumpy.

Love this place! They are fast and the food is delicious! I had the chicken and shrimp spring roll and it was amazing. The peanut sauce is out of this world. There is nice seating although the chairs aren’t too comfortable, it’s okay for a quick lunch. The staff can be a bit aloof, depending on the day. They have been friendly on other days. Oh I forgot they have delicious fruit drinks too.

Yay, I’m a fan OF THE FOOD. Ocean Café is close to my office. The food is always fresh and delicious. The price can be a little high on some items, but worth every penny for taste and again, freshness. I will say, I have to agree with a lot of the others here about the staff. I’ve been in the restaurant to order take out a dozen times, and have yet to feel welcome. The staff seem to all have BRF (B***** Resting Face). I’d probably visit more often, but the staff is such a turn off, I tend go elsewhere and not be looked upon as a nuisance.

Simple, easy, delicious. I always get the chicken spring rolls with peanut sauce. 4 not 5 stars because this is not the nicest location (faces a highway) and they have not yet invested in sending food to a lab. for nutrition profiles. Recommend nonetheless.

I asked the waitress for Sriracha sauce, I just wanted a few drops and they charged me extra 1.95

Delicious, healthy, quality food. The servers can be a little rude but it is fine bc the food is amazing. Their peanut sauce is out of this world.

I absolutely love this place!!! The food is plenty and delicious and the cost is low. They’re food is considered on the healthier side and I love that. I usually get the grilled chicken whole wheat wrap and it’s simply delicious… I’ve had wraps many times but never a huge fan at all… This place forget it… That good!!! I have also tried their avocado wrap with chicken and the avocado wrap with shrimp… Enjoyed both. I have also tried the Thai’s chicken wrap which was also very good. I always get the wheat and honestly I think it’s better than the white. I ordered their chicken chili, the carrot ginger soup, the portabella mushroom soup, the chicken noodle soup and their lentil soup and all are DELICIOUS!!! Their green iced tea is too faint in taste, it pretty much just tastes like water so I would not recommend ordering that. I will say that the staff I like but their is one girl who is a bit or miss when taking your order… She’s very nice but by the end of the night she seems like she just wants to hurry up and get out… Ok I get that but she seems like you are an annoyance and that is something I don’t care for. All in all I recommend checking this spot out… You just might become addicted, too!!!

This place is so good. We have been here for lunch over a dozen times. We love the summer rolls, soups, salads and lettuce cups. they have vegetarian options available. Small, grab you own table and waitress service. They do tons of take out also. All food is very healthy and fresh.

Place is delicious. Loveeee the soups. I can put that homemade balsamic on anything. Always consistent wraps and pittas. Love the lettuce Thai wraps. Owner is a character.

The food is amazing! But I must agree with the other reviews about the staff. They all seem to hate their jobs. I suggest take out! I have never had a bad experience with the food! I get the chicken lettuce wraps and soup! The juices are also amazing! I have also heard the dinners are very good! Definitely a place to check out!

First off– Veggie-​friendly and healthy food options. Food is tasty. Location (Red Bank/​Shrewsbury border, but not a walk by place. Also, near Newman Springs Road train crossing, so traffic is rough) and atmosphere (strip shopping center) are unfortunate. We both really liked our food and the pomegranate lemonade was great. I would go back for lunch and would also go for their great sounding smoothies.

Warning! This restaurant added more money to my credit card even after leaving a decent tip. I suspected something was going on the second time but the third time I confronted the waitress who made up some weird story claiming they always add more money and then make adjustments at the end of the day. Well the adjustment that was made was I was not charged at all probably because she did not expect me to confront her and was afraid that I was going to call the police because this is stealing. The only reason I knew that this was happening is because my credit card company immediately sends me a text when I get charged. I had the receipt in my hand for $ 8.03 and the text came that I was charged $ 10.03. If i did not get this text I would have had to wait till my statement came in the mail or when I had a chance check my statement online. I usually don’t have time for that. These places count on that fact and now don’t even care to try to conceal their fraud. I called the credit card company and they were the least bit interested to pursue this issue. Be careful!

I had the chicken and shrimp rice paper wrap with peanut sauce. It was excellent! Full of fresh greens and rice noodles. The carrot and ginger soup was quite refreshing as well. Price was right.

Only had a wrap so far, but it was really good. I will definitely go back. Was a bit crowded with people even turning away because there were no open tables, so it seems to be gaining popularity.
Update: soups are amazing. Tofu lettuce cups are surprisingly good. Every ingredient has seemed fresh. Try a green iced tea and pomegranate lemonade mix.

I’ve only had the rice wraps, but they’re consistently good. Great value — come for the food not the ambiance!

Great variety on the menu and fresh juice bar is awesome.

Found a hair right on my rice paper wrap from the ocean ave long branch location. It was a take out order otherwise i would’ve freaked right then and there!!!

I’m not a fan of this place. I’ve been a couple of times, and both times the employees were unfriendly and discourteous. The soup is pretty good, but overpriced (~$ 4 for a small cup; ~$ 6 for a bowl). The last time I went I had the vegetable summer rolls, which are not traditional summer rolls — the one I had was mostly mixed greens with a bit of other vegetables. It wasn’t good, but I only had a couple of bites since I found a hair in it. Needless to say — never going back! Go to Panera down the street instead!
