Nastiest manager I have ever met. No customer service. Manager is threatens if you ask a question that does not fit his standard script of questions and answers. This could be a really nice place if the attitudes were different. What would be really great is if the staff ant the West Boylston site were at this place. Oh well we k ow that won’t happen.

I’ve gone to this gym for a couple years. Not a bad place. Not an excellent place either. It’s got almost all the essentials. Could use a free weight bench press and a squat rack but that’s not a huge deal but it would be nice for sure. Equipment wise it does have most things you’d need. A little too much cardio machines if you ask me. Can’t beat the price of the regular membership. $ 10 a month is cheap for a gym so you can’t complain too much. One thing I can complain about is that when I run out of my own water I bring and have to drink their water… It sucks. For someone reason their bubbler tap water tastes horrendous. It tastes cloudy and just seems to dehydrate you more. Probably to get you to buy their own planet fitness water they sell. But all things considered this place isn’t too bad. You can make plenty of gains if you go there the right way. I should also mention its really busy Tues-Thursday from about 5 – 8. Sometimes you’ll wait for ever for the machine you want. Which just goes back to too much cardio machines.

This place is clean and close but I don’t like the culture one tiny bit. The staff are less than accommodating and snippy — I won’t get into details but suffice it to say, the staff are more concerned with their getting out of the place at the minute the place supposedly closes — not when the clients [we’re the reason you have a job Junior] want to complete their workouts. i.e. — shutting off all of the TVs 20 minutes before closing time. Clueless. Also, what’s the deal with the Lunk Alarm? A tool for the express purpose of judging in your supposed no-judgement zone. I met a guy at my new gym [medium build — looked like my old football coach] who looked at the PF in the area [not this one] and was followed out to the parking lot after looking at the facility [can’t call it a gym — sorry]. The manager of that PF told him not to apply — we don’t like your kind here. No judgement zone… riiiiight!

This gym is in a great location and has excellent staff. That being said it is a planet fitness and it is missing the KEY pieces of equipment that make it an actual gym. Again, on the positive the staff keep it clean, and they treat you well by greeting you when you come in and recognize when you leave.

It’s a decent no-frills gym while you’re a member, but good luck canceling.

I love this gym! All of the equipment and machines are well maintained, clean, and tidy. This gym is fairly new so I wouldn’t expect any less. For $ 10 or $ 20 a month, you get more than your money’s worth. I purchased the $ 10 membership because I’m not ready for the commitment of a cancellation fee. I’ve been to a few other PF’s in Manhattan and this one blows them out of the water in terms of space and cleanliness. Some other PF’s squish their machines together to the point where they’re overlapping, overlapping! I probably shouldn’t be comparing a major city gym to a suburban gym, but regardless, cherish your space here, because that’s not aways the case. While this gym has all the basic PF amenities(tanning, massage bed & chair) they don’t have the«Total Body Enhancement». A side note to all PF’s: I find that«Lunk Alarm» way more obnoxious than the actual act of someone dropping weights.

Great facility — big space with all necessary equipment, great massage and tanning area as well. Friendly staff and clean area.

This Planet Fitness is currently allowing 16 year olds to have memberships at this gym. If you don’t mind the laughing, giggling immature behavior in the locker room and on the equipment, then this is the place for you. Personally, I don’t see how they can maintain a «Judgment Free Zone» with a bunch of 16 year olds acting their age. While not all of them engage in that type of behavior it only takes a couple of them laughing and whispering about people in the locker room to wreak havoc on your mood. It’s a shame — this used to be a nice gym.

This is a great gym, extremely friendly, clean, big, bright and plenty of equipment so there is very little waiting. With PF you are getting a no frills gym, I.e. No pool, no racquetball, no basketball courts, but what you are getting is a great place to go and work off some calories.

Love this gym. Very big, clean and the staff is friendly. I used to go to Boston Sports Club and this gym beats it by a long shot. and ¼ the price!

I have been going since they opened(12⁄2012) and really like this gym. They keep it very clean and the staff is nice. I go between 4 – 6 times a week and have never had a bad experience yet. The price of $ 10 a month is well worth it. This really is a no judgment gym. I have some anxiety issues but always feel comfortable when being there. I recommend this gym to anyone.

This gym is great and a wonderful deal. I love planet fitness! Only complaint is that henever I go they always have Fox News on spewing some lies and bile. I wish they would balance it with pbs or msnbc.

It’s a great gym. First off it’s brand new and there’s plenty of equipment. The only cons are that sometimes you need to scramble to find an extra 45 plate for the smith machines and the wife says that there’s no classes(which i have no care for) …everyone is nice and respects the new equipment… if u get the black membership you have access to the tanning beds and massage area and can also bring a guest

The gym is really clean and has convenient hours. There are instructions on most of the machines so if you are not sure how something works, you can figure it out pretty easily. The bathrooms and showers are always clean and lockers are fairly easy to come by. The only down side is that it can get pretty busy during the after work hours, so sometimes you need to wait around for a machine, but for $ 10 a month it is definitely a great deal.

I have belonged to many gyms over the years and PF is really a great gym. The facility it new and there is tons of top grade fitness equipment. I never have a problem finding an open treadmill even at the most crowded times. They do not have free weights here, except dumbbells. The patrons are all good peeps, too. The staff gets a thumbs up from me.

Joined when they opened in December. Great facility with lots of equipment. Have to go during lunch break, if you wait until after 5 very crowded and hard to get access to equipment you want to use. Can’t beat the price– black membership for 20 per month still 40 cheaper than my old gym, AND lets me bring a guest and workout at other PFs when I’m traveling.
