History

Established in 2009.

Tom, the business owner, started out going to a vocational and technical school to learn about heating & cooling units, repair and installation. It was a goal of his to open his own business, but it took time acquiring proper certifications and effort in gathering a customer base before he could do that. In 2009, with over 20 years of experience, Tom opened State of the ART Heating and Cooling with tough competition. Still, with low costs, dedicated reliability in getting a job done and done right, he has taken on many new customers by word of mouth only. Aside from having highly-​trained techs, Tom will do all he can to help out a customer. He has a 24-​hour emergency number, even for new customers, because he understands that disasters don’t happen on a 9 – 5 schedule. Tom isn’t just a heating and cooling business owner. While he loves his company and the work he does there, he also has a wide range of interests and hobbies, which includes construction, remodeling, auto repair and restoration, welding, tile work and a passion for custom cabinetry. He loves spending time with his wife and children, especially down the shore in the summertime. Tom is a good man, a family-​man at heart and even incorporated his kids’ names in the letters ART for his business!
