The food at this place is delicious but the service is terrible. I placed an order at 12:50 and at 1:30 they were only just starting it when the restaurant had no one in it. I’ve placed phone orders, had them tell me 20 minutes, then I waited 30 minutes to leave work, drove 10 minutes, and still ended up waiting 15 minutes for a bagel with an egg and avocado– that’s 55 minutes total. They definitely need more help in the kitchen.

The BEST breakfast burrito ever! Seriously delish. As per the other reviews, the service is a bit slow, but the presentation is pretty and they seem genuinely happy to have you there. I’m sure speed will improve and I will definitely be back!

Slow service. Understaffed. Waited 30minutes for an acai bowl last Saturday and today called in my order(another acai bowl), arrived in 20 min, still waited 30 minutes. They only had 1 young guy taking orders, food prepping, cooking, and answering the phones. The owners need to invest in labor and hire more people.

I giving this rating for one reason, and one reason only… SLOWWWW service! The menu offerings are wonderful, healthy, and delicious, but It shouldn’t take 25 minutes to receive a simple breakfast order, when you’re just one of a few people present. The owners need to recognize that in order to thrive in a food related business, you need to equip your workers with the necessary tools needed to succeed, i.e.adequate cooking burners, blenders, etc. If this were to improve… you would undoubtably grow your business, and then some. It’s simply not reasonable to offer so many menu options if you’re not properly staffed or equipped. I’ve had this same experience each time I’ve visited, wanting to chalk it up to new business kinks… however, I am less likely to go back because it’s clearly not apt to change. What a shame as I wholeheartedly believe in supporting local businesses.

I frequent this place because of its proximity to my home and its quality ingredients. Price is a little high for the bagels, but if they’re using fresh and organic ingredients it’s worth the money. Unfortunately, their service is impossibly slow and not worth the time. I usually see at least 3 people working in the kitchen and cannot comprehend why it would take 40 minutes to make my phone order. After receiving my order, I realized the guy forgot the cherry tomatoes(that usually come with the egg and avocado bagel) and the extra lox we requested. Our poached eggs were basically hard-boiled, too. I decided to go back and ask for it. Then I overhear him talking to the owners, saying«She didn’t ask for it». Rude. And then upon checking my order again, realizing that I did! The owners did give us chips and«extra» tomatoes and lox, but still not the best way to start my day. I’m giving Citta 4 stars, because I’m trying to love this place and want them to do well. I love the food and the owners are warm and welcoming. But honestly, I probably wouldn’t come again, if another place offered better pitaya/acai bowls in Arcadia.

Omg the coco fresh is really yummy. My friend got a juice and the bottle is super cute especially the $ 5 juice bottle of glass. The drinks are very fresh and refreshing. Yum. I would come back

I really like the bagels here and the juice is avg/decent … But the service might be the slowest service in history. Mom and Pop shop but completely understaffed and always seems like things are being arranged and set up for the very first time. We usually just drive to a local juice/bagel shop… It’s faster.

Amazing! This place is adorable. I got an avocado sandwich on an everything bagel and an acai bowl. The sandwich was very good, a little cold by the time I got home, but that’s because I got it to-go. The bowl was huge, but tasted slightly plain. I think I am just too used to the really sweet bowls for Jamba Juice. It was slightly expensive, but for the quality of ingredients I think it’s worth it. It also took a long time, but they are making everything by hand so it makes sense — I just wouldn’t go if I was in a hurry. I also watched them give a girl a free water bottle on her way out with her order and she seemed super happy about that. Great service, super friendly and great food.

Great spot. Very slow service. Owners are awesome. Need some more good quality help and need to produce product faster some way some how. I really love this shop and will continue to come but they need to speed up things. There juices are good but if they are not fresh they are bad and oxidized. I love that this place is family owned but need things to improve on before 5 star. If things keep progressing I’ll be changing my review

Food here is healthy, light and fresh tasting. Perfect for when you want to eat something that’s not going to make you feel bad or weighed down and honestly there’s not too many other restaurants locally that serve healthy food options. I hope this place sticks around because I don’t want to be stuck eating a bunch of cheese and carbs from everywhere else…

Every feel like having a healthy, feel good after eating type of meal? Well, finally found a nice cozy airy homey spot to have a quaint breakfast, lunch or light dinner. The owners are very welcoming and you feel like your simply coming over their home to share a nice home cooked healthy meal. You’ve got to try this place

Real bagels. Yum. Wonderful fresh ingredients. Yum. SUPER friendly and warm and inviting. Priced very well for the quality of ingredients. Really– quality is outstanding Great concept. I love a place to find healthy options. I have not tried the juice. A couple annoying things: Napkins are not out and available to grab so when I spilled, I had to wait. Salt and pepper is not on the table so again I had to wait. They need more help in the kitchen. More waiting. The food and juices I have noticed take a very long time to come out. Over 20 min for my bagel sandwich. It is hard for me to wait. Im a busy working mom. If they can work out the service kinks, this could be a FAVORITE spot for me.

Love love love! Art and Sarah are great! They made us feel welcome and like family from the moment we stepped through the door. We scoped this place out right away during our first visit to Sierra Madre and came again the next day. The Acai bowl, homemade granola bars and iced tea were amazing. Everything is fresh and made to order. We came back today to try some other items and plan to make this our regular place for fresh food on days/nights we are too busy too cook ourselves. Tonight we tried the sprout bagel and salmon tacos and they were wonderful. The gluten free bagel was very good and it is very difficult to find good gluten free breads. Also they gave me a beautiful salad which was complimentary and delicious! For people complaining about the price… you get what you pay for. I personally do not think it is overpriced for tasty, healthy fresh food which is expensive for a business to buy and keep fresh.

I went with my husband today and we had an amazing lunch. I ordered and Acai bowl with fruits and granola I Loved it. Fresh + Organic= great combination. They gave us water and the owners treated us pretty good making us feel like home. I’m planing to come back to try the coconuts smoothies and the cold press juices. Keep doing such a great job.

This place it’s amaizing. Starting from the owners attention to the food everything was perfect. I ordered and Acai Bowl and and the signature Salad with Salmon and Avocado and it was just what I was looking for. Fresh and healthy food. I went for a walk around the town and nothing was to me healthy or fresh. I have to said thanks for making healthy and good food on Sierra Madre. Organic. Fresh and Tasty. It worth the money.

Love, love, love this place. My wife and I got the Mint Chip smoothie. Wow! So good. We also got the Roma sandwich. Amazing. The atmosphere is very relaxing, inviting and clean. Arthur and Sara are so nice and hospitable. They engage you in conversation and show a lot of personal interest. Very genuine and friendly. The best kind of people, I wish there were more like them. We’ll definitely be back for more. Can’t wait.

The owners reached out and invited me to their shop. We shared fresh vegetable juices with each other and had some great conversation. Art & Sarah are amazing people and they are devoted to providing the best juice to their customers. I gave them some pointers and they’re working hard on implementing better techniques to improve the juice. I will come back and post updates. Like I said, this place serves fresh, pressed, organic juice bottled in glass. It is better than all the local mainstream places, such as Pressed Juicery, Nekter, and so forth. I haven’t tried their bagels yet but I hear they’re amazing!

I love this place! From the moment you walk in it has a very comfy atmosphere and the décor is so cute. It’s a nice place to sit and chat. I decided to try the avocado bagel and it was absolutely delicious on an everything bagel! I really want to come back and try some more bagels. The service was nice but I was a little bummed that they didn’t know their wifi password. And I asked for a plain bagel and was told they were out but two minutes later I heard a man order one and it seemed they were not out. So some little kinks, but overall a nice place in Sierra Madre to check out.
