One of the best dentist visits I have ever had! The women at the front desk were so helpful and on top of it! Signed in and was shown around the office, never had that and really liked it. Dr. Joe was extremely thorough and told me everything he was going to do and wanted to make sure any of my questions were answered. Highly highly recommended Dr. Joe and his staff! :)

Where do I start? Wow…
I had a filling almost fall out the other day and the panic set in as I remembered, «I don’t have a dentist!»
I wasn’t too pleased with my last dentist and have been putting off finding a new one. I checked the Unilocal reviews and decided to give Dr. Joe a try. I’m glad I did.
Good points…
1. I called Tuesday morning and was immediately booked for the following morning.
2. When we arrived (my 4 year old had insisted on coming with) we were greeted by friendly staff. Mercedes even went the extra mile to set my daughter up in the family room with a private viewing of the Disney movie of her choice.
3.April and Cindy were highly competent and friendly. The x-​rays and cleaning went swiftly and smoothly and they made me feel at ease making small chat (but not when they had their hands in my mouth. I hate that…)
4. Dr. Joe was WONDERFUL. As a new patient he took the time to get to know me and explained everything he was doing. He even did an oral cancer preventative screening which no other dentist has ever done for me before. I had a few concerns, one of which they made the time to take care of that day and the other he reassured me was not an issue. He did not try and talk me into unnecessary procedures.
5. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the office and upon leaving I even got a «Welcome-​to-​the-​office-​it-​was-​a-​pleasure-​having-​you» Coffee Mug!!! How THOUGHTFUL!
Bad points…

I am so happy I found Dr. Joe. I just wish I had found him sooner.

Unethical and shoddy work done on my teeth. He kept my gold crown after he removed it and replaced it with a porcelain crown. It wasn’t til a month later that it dawned on me, that it was not his to keep and should have been given back to me after the procedure. Secondly, and worst of all is the really bad dental work he performed. The tooth is sticking all far out away from the rest of the others and bothers me and sometimes gives me headaches.

Dr. Joe and his staff are the best!!! There is no one else I would trust with my front teeth, so when one chipped I waited until I could save up some money to see Dr. Joe. When I called to see if I could get a quote, they were able to schedule me to go in the next day for a consultation. From the moment I walked into the office, the staff was wonderful and Dr. Joe was able to take care of it right away and charged me next to nothing because he knew my financial situation. It was painless, fast and I couldn’t be happier with my smile. I can’t stop looking in the mirror. He is a genius. If you want the best, then you have only one choice.

What can I say? Dr. Joe and his staff are amazing. I too am perplexed by the negative review. One of my previous dentists also recommended replacing my silver fillings with porcelain. He said they were better for you. There is mercury in silver fillings.
Anyway, my husband originally went to Dr. Joe and I switched soon after. As a previous poster said, he is so nice and has the best bedside manner. And his office is state-​of-​the-​art, which I love.
Lastly, I’ve never had to wait long for my appointment. I highly, highly recommend him.

Most knowledgeable, most caring, most professional office I have ever been to before. I recently relocated to the area and was very fortunate to find Dr Joe and his staff. I had tried other dentists in the area, but I could not find one that I could trust not to do unncessary dental work or damage my teeth. This is a professional office with a staff that cares about their patients, and after my visit I was able to see for myself how this office operates. I am confident I will have a long-​standing relationship here and I would recommend Dr Joe to anyone in need of a good honest dentist.

This was my first time with Dr. Joe. You might have read about my former dentist in a previous post. I had an urgent need to see Dr. Joe. They got me in the same day.
My review of Dr. Joe… Do not go to Dr. Joe unless you’re prepared for a dentist who puts patient comfort first coupled with a gentle manner informing you along the way. I’m always interested in how long the staff has been there. Caroline, the newbie, has been there I believe 5 years. Others much, much longer.
He called me tonight to follow up on the yanking of #18. We spoke for 15 minutes answering my dopey questions from the research I have done since the extraction.
Please don’t go to Dr. Joe. It will be harder for my family and friends to get in!!!

Awesome dentist! I had called that 1800 dentist years ago and they referred me to an aweful dentist that had no clue about fillings. I had previously had a porcelain inlay put in and this dentist based on an X-​ray was saying it was bad and needed to be removed. I was referred to Dr. Joe and he offered a free check up of my teeth as a 2^nd opinion. Was I relieved after I went. He did some X rays and is very knowledgeable. I later found out he and other Dentists still do study groups to keep current! (that’s cool) I’ve been going to Dr. Joe now for around 6 years, they technicians who do the cleaning are very, very thorough– so through we found a cavity forming in between my teeth when she was flossing. He’s a fantastic dentist, the team is nice and helpful. If anything bad I can think of, well, it’s sometimes a little hard to get an appointment but that’s it. Pricey, he can be but you get what you pay for~ Go to Dr Joe, They’ll do the job right every time.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Joe since the mid 90’s, and have had all kinds of procedures done, from basic cleanings to fillings to veneers. I’ve never had a single problem with any if it, and he’s never tried to upsell me with anything I didn’t need. Even when I didn’t have insurance, Dr. Joe was very accommodating. He and everyone in the office are upstanding and outstanding folks.

I have to agree! He is the BEST dentist I have ever been too! He is the kindest and most honest person I have ever met and only gives us the best service possible. My husband and I have been going to him for over 10 years as well and the staff and hygenists are awesome.

I HAVE to write a review to counteract that negative review from 2009. It doesn’t sound like Dr. Joe at all, more like something a competing dentist wrote to draw business away from him. Anyways, I have been a patient of Dr. Joe for over 10 years, as well as my wife and kids and my brother’s family as well. We have always received the greatest care with no «up-​sell» pressure of any kind. I’ve even had a root canal and a crown, and on both occasions, I wondered what people are always complaining about since the procedures were so painless under Dr. Joe’s care. And I know for a fact that he oversees his hygienists to make sure they exercise gentle care as well.
