Re Max Homestores Property Management

Everything was fine at first, the company mostly left us alone. Their true colors came to light when there was a domestic violence issue with one of my roommates. After contacting the police, filing a report, and making Remax aware of it, they refused to let me off the lease. For those of you who don’t know, it’s against the law in Arizona to deny victims of domestic abuse to get off the lease with the abuser. After a month of headaches and fear, I had no other choice but to abandon the property because the management and employees at Remax don’t give two shits.
The fact that they didn’t even show the slightest bit of empathy makes it apparent that they truly don’t care about anyone or anything but their profits.
I’m now in collections with them.
DO NOT rent from these people. All they care about is money, they don’t even care about the law.

I would not recommend Remax in Sierra Vista to my worst enemy.
The people that work there thrive on creating conflict and drama in all their tenants lives. Expect nasty emails to be sent to you and then, conveniently, your leasing agent has left for the day, if you attempt to contact them.
There is always an issue with the employees of Remax, they are either rude, yelling and screaming at people or they are sending snarky emails and letters.
Remax is not to be trusted.
If it is not any of the above, there is always an unexpected change in policy that you are unaware of and thereby, more money can be reaped from you.
There is not even a basic respect for humanity.
Again, avoid them at all costs.

I don’t normally write reviews but it’s hard to ignore terrible customer service. Aside from moving in, I’ve only had a few interactions with this company. Not one pleasant experience from this company. Prepare to pay record high fees they charge for moving in and out (the highest in sierra vista) and get ready to not get answers to your questions and be treated like a nuisance. As soon as my lease expires, I’m moving. Recommendations for Remax: hire associates that care and not corporate robots.

REMAX has always treated me well.
The person with the negative response has to realize that the landlord has to approve all expensive repairs and stuff. Probably more of the landlord’s fault than REMAXs. Everytime I’ve had an issue it’s solved pretty quickly!
