There is a great selection and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful.

Though I had to find a staff member to inquire about a product, since what I wanted wasn’t in stock, she was helpful. Their discount/rewards card is $ 5, but seems like you’ll get a decent discount if you plan to visit fairly regularly. True, it was a bit crowded in the store, but it was nothing I couldn’t get over. I was happy at their great selection of lashes and adhesives… crazy and fun, and those alone will make me return.

Since starting to dye my hair funky colors with some regularity, I’ve visited quite a few different Sally Beauty Supply locations. Generally I’ve found them to be clean, well-lit, well-laid-out, and well-stocked. This one… not so much. It’s hardly a ghetto, but something about the vibe is just… off. The aisles feel a little too crowded, the products not as easy to see. The shelves are often messy and/or dusty. They seem to have trouble keeping things in stock. The whole place feels a little dingy. And while I’ve had one member of the staff be very helpful, several others have seemed clueless or uninterested, especially when it comes to such strange and foreign topics as dyeing one’s hair bright blue. It’s still a Sally, and still carries a good range of useful products, but after a month(and several frustrating trips) waiting for them to restock Manic Panic I think I’m going to visit the one out in Douglas from now on.

Your typical beauty store– good selection, decent prices on most things, but the customer service is really lacking. They seem to cater specifically to the retired ladies in town and don’t care to help you if you’re any younger. I’d save the annoyance and order online, or go to Ulta in Tucson or something.
