Our mission is to create a product that adds True Value to our clients Brand and Image.

We’re a small group of 5 people who love printing and design! We operate out of an office/​warehouse in Signal Hill. In fact, Allen Printing & Graphic Design has been printing in Long Beach for over 30 years!

Our philosophy is simple. Everything we do here is custom. You won’t find any templates on our computers, and we don’t take shortcuts. At a young age, I had been around the advertising & printing industry since my family started in 1991. In 2005 I worked full time for the family business for about 4 years bringing new creative ideas to our Graphic Design department.

I took a break from the industry for a short 8 month period before realizing that Printing & Graphic Design is what I knew best.

My philosophy is to provide Outstanding customer service & the best quality products possible in order to keep our clients happy and coming back.

These guys are really amazing! I needed wedding, bridal shower, groom honoring, and rehearsal dinner invites, and wedding programs printed in 4 days! They designed the wedding invite and the quality was excellent! Would highly recommend them! Will definitely be using them in the future

I came to Allen Printing because I needed new business cards made and wanted something that would really stand out. After browsing through their samples both online and in store I knew they could help me create something that really popped. The front desk associate was really nice and helpful, I told her some of the things I liked from their previous designs and she helped me choose a style and special changes for my cards. I ended ordering skinny cards (1.5×3.5 inches instead of the standard 2×3.5) with spot UV on the logo (it makes it all shiny in the sun). They came out great and their graphic designer was super helpful in letting me know how I could improve my design for higher quality and a better overall feel. I will definitely be using these guys again in the near future for my business printing.

Love, love, love Allen Printing. Jonade and team are great! I went to Allen Printing for custom thank you cards. The team designed my postcards using a few wedding pictures. Within three days, they had all my postcards ready and they looked amazing. The team is friendly and professional as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

All I have to say is I am so grateful to Allen Printing for my beautiful wedding invitations. The outcome was amazing and I received so many compliments from family and friends telling me they were classy, beautiful and that they were jealous of how wonderful they turned out. My invitations have been out a week and people have already started to ask me for referrals of where I got them done. I feel very lucky and fortunate that I had a chance to work with Jonade and that he fulfilled my wishes for an amazing invitation. The invitation is the first impression to my wedding day and I really felt that Allen Printing gave the BEST impression.

This is an overdue review but I just had to show Allen Printing some love. I was referred here by a friend after multiple places in Pasadena refused to print our invites. I was so frustrated because I didn’t think our request was unusual. We wanted invites that were custom made to be printed on both sides on thick quality paper. We drove all the way out to Signal Hill after Jonade delightfully offered to do our invites. I was overjoyed but was ESTATIC after I saw how they had turned out. We had a custom animation on one side of the invite and Jonade’s printer and paper actually brought the animation to life (the characters were popping out! Almost looked 3D!). If you’re looking for somewhere to print quality work, it’s worth the drive out from LA. They’re knowledgable, friendly and priced well! Can’t beat that. Thank you so much Allen Printing!!!

I’d been going to Vista Print for some time but I felt like my bookkeeping business needed its own look and feel. Taking the time to talk to Jonade and Andy from Allen Printing was the best thing I did for my business. Friendly, professional, and they did an awesome job in creating my logo. I came to Allen Printing via referrals after several other nearby national print chains said they were not able to do what I was asking for. The folks at Allen Printing were more than happy to understand my project (s), produce samples for me to review, and have everything ready well in advance of the required date. I am glad I was referred to them and hope my review here on Unilocal will encourage others to seek them out too. They are a bit hard to find (located in the same center as Howard’s, but on the opposite side of the parking lot). They were professional, easy to work with, and very friendly.

The Long:
Came in with a Bridal Client. we had found some invitation she really liked online, but the only colors offered were truly terrible. We created our own version of the invites but in the colors of her wedding, and then set off to have them printed. I first went alone to a kinkos to get a demo test done. After nearly throwing a temper tantrum in the store because of the terrible service and their unwillingness to make four (literally FOUR) copies (because they were too busy– but not too busy to explain why they were too busy for twenty minutes… seriously?), I asked Kelly Paper for a referral to a quality printing company. They sent me to Allen. My bridal client and I went in, nervous, because the colors being printed weren’t the same as they had been on the monitor. These guys were SOOOO nice and pulled out something that looked like a paintchip sampler youd pick up at a hardware store and literally went through the colors until the matched the swatches from the bridesmaids dresses. They proceeded to print out all the invites (and then cut them). The invites looked great and their service was impeccable. Better than all of that– they saved my client a grip of money! My plan– never EVER go into a kinkos again!
PS:
They also told me they could make my business cards for less than half of what I have been paying. Nice.

Easily one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a print shop.
I personally feel like I’m fairly easy to please… be honest, be reliable, and deliver exactly what is promised. Jonade at Allen Printing did all of the above, and did it with impressive quality and great pricing.
I’ve used quite a few different printers in the past, and not only will Allen printing get my future business, but I’m also thinking of other projects just so I can bring them more of my business.
