Jessie Elwin Nelson Academy

I worked at this school and there are SERIOUS issues there. Where should I begin? While the schools appearance is newer and nicer, there lots significant problems with the students, administration, behavior and policies.
I’m an educator and I was called a bitch by multiple students, both male and female. Administration did nothing regarding the students’ behavior. If students are talking to teachers that way, how do you think they’re treating their classmates?
Students freely use the n word, they are physically aggressive with one another, and constantly cause trouble knowing administration has no real consequences.
Also, class sizes were HUGE. Over 50 kids in two of the periods I taught. How is any teacher supposed to handle a class size that big?!
If you care about the well-​being, happiness, and sanity of your child (as well as their education), put your kid in any school but this one. I don’t work there anymore either.

I regret putting my son in this school soo much had my other two in Marshall middle school and never had problems like these bad school don’t let the looks fool you too! My worst nightmare alot alot of bullying from the staff to the parents and students!
