Long Beach Condo Management

«Eek! Methinks not» is a very polite way of saying whats going on in my head right now. There is absolutely no level of professionalism on any level. You will be interrupted, cut off, hung up on, or just left on hold until you finally give up. My last straw was being interrupted and snapped at with «that’s owner responsibility» before I even got my issue out. They didn’t even listen to the issue at hand. They deny responsibilities until they’re blue in the face or a complex actually collapses from a termite complaint gone ignored from a year ago. If you are a complex board looking for a management company, the price may be right, but think of the potential liability issues over negligence… mine may be facing one soon. If you are a property owner, you need to be talking to your board about moving on from these people. Look into where your dues are really going.

This condo management company used to be good. The addition of some employee have made the place awful. There is zero customer service, they practice the art of radio silence by not ever calling you back. When you call to get an issue resolved you get an angry employee telling you: «let me tell you, we don’t work for the homeowners»!!! — What in the world! Don’t hire this company, truly a waste of your money for the association and the building.

Not fantastic. This is a small business 2 man crew management company. 80+ properties with two managers. It’s hit and miss and mostly miss. Emails go unanswered. Manager Dee Dee is often rude and unprofessional, a know it all and dictator. Very dominant and not very kind. I personally emailed in a semi urgent matter regarding maintenance issue. It took almost 2 weeks to get a response and it was almost daily emails with updates, photos etc. Shocking and the excuse from the one of two managers was the vendor never answered her. I had NO email to me in response my emails. Instead I had to hear it from the board. I have no idea how this is seen as good service.

Be kind, not everyone knows what YOU DO. (many of us have no clue about HOA’s, or property management)
Realize that you are a hired service. The building while being managed by you is correct, you do not own the building and are a hired service, much like our gardeners, pool maintenance and cleaners. Your no better than anyone else.
Owner Alain is always pleasant, but you can tell these two have hands full. Either they need to hire someone else or realize they can’t do it all.
Monthly meetings often forget important maintenance issues. Owners complain they never get calls back. Maintenance issues are not always a priority and often excuses are handed out instead of being accountable.
This company does have a great online site, payments are easy and that’s a plus.

I had problems with them when they took over our condos, similar issues over a leak from a neighbor above… So over this company, difficult to get a hold of meaning they never return emails or calls, when our fire extinguishers were out of compliance, my husband emailed long beach condo, not even a simple email back saying thanks for letting us know, instead long beach police had to be notified before action was done. I expect this from a crapy landlord but we pay a lot a month in hoa fees, and they couldn’t even care about safety?

All they can do is suck money out of HOA and try to boss where they supposed to serve. Totally unprofessional.

Would caution you before signing up with them. When we brought up a problem in our home, which restricted us from daily activities as important as cooking, they responded quickly but didn’t show any sympathy or caring, or offer assistance. They don’t seem to realize how important your home is and how much a problem at home bothers you all day long.
Don’t bother giving them feedback; they’ll get argumentative with you– just as another reviewer said as well. I would want people with better customer service skills handling my home. At least pretend to care.

Not impressed with these people at all. They are very unprofessional in every aspect of «managing» our HOA in Long Beach! They are slow to respond, lack courtesy, are argumentative, play the gate keeper game, and are very uncooperative at every encounter my wife and I have had with them. I do not recommend them based in my experience!

After being so fed up with my previous condo management company, I was happy to get customer service, reliable vendors, and a helpful staff!

Hired them to handle the management of our HOA and Alan and his team have been great to work with and a real asset in managing our building. We were managed by Berro previously and it’s shocking how much better Long Beach Condo is. I highly recommend using them if you are in need.

Hired this company to assist HOA board with all functions from legal, financial, vendors, and very hands on approach daily by Alain and his team. A greatly vast difference in value and services then last company had. Cost is less an services are more.
