We are a family owned business who has been specializing in custom embroider, team uniforms and greek wear for the past 22 years. Whether you are in need of a fully custom letterman jacket or just a single Christmas stocking personalized with an embroidered name, we are here to give you the expertise and experience you deserve. History

Established in 1990.

We are a family owned and operated business just as we have been from day one. What begun as a dream and a single embroidery machine in the spare bedroom of my family’s home, has grown into a thriving company that continues to give back to, and support, the Long Beach and surrounding communities that have given us so much. We consider ourselves lucky to be able to serve our customers, some of which we have had for the past 20 years. Hello, my name is James Trujillo and I am the General Manager at Name Your Game Inc. I have had the absolute pleasure of literally «growing up» with our company. My father started our business out of our home when I was 12 years old and we have never looked back. Yet as our business has grown we have continued to keep the same family owned philosophy that we have always had, that our customers and employees are simply extensions of our own family. Whether you have been a customer for 20 years, or this is your first time finding us, I hope that when you walk through the door you feel as if you are one of the family. So far I have done embroidery and silk screen with Name Your Game and have not been disappointed one bit.
Some highlights of my NYG experiences so far:
1. No minimum order. They have done 1 piece embroidery for me when other places turned me down,
2. Good prices! All work that I’ve had done has been at industry standard pricing or below.
3. Quick turnaround! I have had shirts done within 1 – 3 business days and they usually finish each project a day or two sooner than they quoted me.
4. They did a 1 hour embroidery for me when I made an error! This is not norm and I was so appreciative of how they bailed me out and didnt even charge me a rush price.
5. Tight Hours… This is a personal preference since I live in LB but dont work there… I wish they opened earlier or were open on Saturday’s, but again that is a personal preference and I in no way would knock a business for maintaining strict hours to allow for a work-​life balance for themselves and their staff.
I now take all of my work and personal embroidery or screen printing to Name Your Game…

2016 Nothing new to report… Tried another place but was disappointed in the workmanship, glad it was only a few pieces to compare. Will not be going anywhere else. You pay for what you get. And i’m all about the quality. There was a tear on a jacket from the embroidery loop, George paid for the other jacket shipping, taxes and all. Very pleased…

Very rude salesman. Did not have any examples of certain Fonts printed on material. then proceeded to be very rude about how long it would take to complete. decided to my graphics else where. would not recommend!

Just moved into the area so don’t have a local embroidery place to go to, see this place on Unilocal and drive miles out of the way to inquire about a potential patch job, complete with .jpg and .png files available on USB and for email. George seemed nice enough until he found out I didn’t want to make a ton of patches. When he told me it’d be $ 50 to even see a digital proof, I replied that I’ve never had to pay to see a proof before. His retort (complete with a «duh» shrug and flourish of his hands) was verbatim: «I’ve been doing this for 25 years and we do it the old-​school way. It has to be digitized, so if someone is just editing the proof real quick on the computer and showing you, well you can go to them and have them do it for you.» So I did, and it looks great. George, it’s 2015 and you’re not gonna be in business much longer with that type of customer service, nevermind your archaic business model. Good luck.

The service is just great. I took my flight jacket which is very dear to me. I had a few patches put on the back side, front and arms. The jacket is kind of poofy so the sew work had to be done right. These guys nailed it nicely. I am very happy with the work done and the service. I can’t say enough.

We purchased our son’s letterMan jacket last year and James was very helpful with the design and layout of the jacket. The jacket was ready when they promised it and the quality was impeccable! Name Your Game had been recommended by several other families and we were pleased with the entire process. We have been back to add patches and bling and George was also very helpful! They do seem to be busy, a very good sign, but work has always been promised and delivered on time! We strongly recommend Name Your Game!

I have placed several orders with this company. Over half the time there has either been mistakes made or significant delays beyond the agreed upon timeframe. I have given them a couple of tries to redeem themselves in an attempt to support this small business but this will be my last order with them. My order got pushed back twice because «several other large orders» came in. Very frustrating, unreliable service. I do not recommend this company.

I have had two rush orders done here. Both orders were about 25 pieces each. 1 was embroidery and one was silk screening. They were done super fast and turned out wonderfully. Everyone I have worked with has been super accommodating and very friendly. I would definitely recommend them.

I’ve been using Name Your Game to embroider, silk screen, and design clothes for high school groups for over a decade. They are professional, courteous and dedicated to their craft. I’ve always had positive experiences, whether it was a simple embroider job or a more intricate design job. They are capable of handling both small and large jobs, and are well worth the drive from my house in OC to get the job done right the first time. They also work within my set budget, which is rare these days. Love them!
