I didn’t find what I was looking for, but got something I think will fix my toilet handle issue. I love mom and pop stores, but it is hard to compete with such a large store that has almost everything you need at reasonable prices. I only had 1 item, so the self-​check out made my in/​out real quick.

Horrible experience at this location an item ran up incorrect and the self checkout lady told us I don’t have time to help you so we had to run and find someone who could help us while she was on her phone. Really annoying very unprofessional will not come back to this location.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I placed an order for tile over 2 months ago. Tile keeps arriving broken and they keep reordering (5 orders later still don’t have my tile). At one point they canceled the reorder and had me pay again and said I would be «refunded» for the original order. 2 months later talking to their corporate escalation team and still no refund. They keep telling me it has been done and to wait 7 – 10 days and it will show on my account, I wait and no refund ever. Now I have paid twice, have no refund or tile. Same response every time «we will reorder the tile» and «there was an error with the refund its done now, check in 7 – 10 business days». No apologies from the store nothing. Only to tell me its their error and they will fix but, but they don’t. Totally 100% unacceptable with no customer service skills whatsoever.

Not the most informative employees. But, if you know what you want it is the perfect place for home improvements.

I love this store. The employees are helpful and explain things well. I am a loyal Home Depot shopper!

Needed to pick up light bulbs and a trash can, needless to say they had plenty of both. Was even invited to an elevated garden workshop by an employee named Dave. Self checkout is convenient, since this store rather close to my residence I will pay them another visit whenever I need to get light bulbs, trash cans or even building materials.

Home Depot in signal hill Ca off of Cherry and Willow did some home renovation to our West Long Beach home… they had spent a few months of work and they did a frightful job and wouldn’t recommend them to put in a light bulb…
The work they did to our home was a waste of time that can not be undone nor refundable for the ridiculous three stooges workmanship… STAY AWAY from Home Depot for any kind of installation or any kind of job!!!

This place is large like all big box stores. It has a large selection of things they sell a large quantity of. The selection of less popular items is surprisingly limited. It has regular check out lanes and self check out lanes. It has a large parking lot. One unique thing is that they have a bungalow with free coffee for the illegal immigrants to wait in. I like that because they don’t bother others, scare people, or loiter. Having them centralised is s good choice.

All the staff here is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Jonathan in paint is great, I am opening a store and have gone in at least 10 times in the last month and he has been so helpful every time, even about things outside of paint. Highly recommended and a cut above the rest of the Home Depot locations.

¹⁷⁄₁₀₀ It’s Home Depot. You go here because you need something for your home. Experts for every aisle, this location does not disappoint. I’ve been assisted in the paint section, the lighting section and the even the area where they make keys. I just feel really, really tiny in this store. However, it’s always easy to find someone in that familiar orange smock/​apron.
The front of the store (like all Home Depot’s) boasts of popularly purchased items depending on the time of year. Around the holidays, there are holiday displays from small to enormous. In January I noticed a lot of moving and packing items.
Then there’s the last minute grab section. Imagine you are at a grocery store where as you’re waiting in line to pay, on both sides there are snacks, candy, soda, gum, etc… all the items you try to have your kids avoid. Your little ones are begging you «Mom, can I have this? Mom, mom, mom? Can I have that?» This section in the store is like the candy aisle for men. A recent trip to Home Depot sounded something like this «Ooooo! Oh I need this! Ooooo they have those?! Oh, I should get one of these.» This is what happens when your boyfriend is a carpenter. The good part is that these tools and accessories don’t cause Diabetes or heart disease and probably assists in getting some work done, right?

What can I say, it’s Home Depot. It meets the standards of all of my many Home Depot experiences at different locations. The store is expansive, the employees are helpful and the parking lot doesn’t make you want to pull your hair out. It even gets higher praise because it’s located a block away from my house.

I have been between the Atlantic st and Cherry st home depot at least 15 times this month spending thousands $$$ on materials to repair a rental. The home depot on atlantic is my usual home depot, but since the property is close to Cherry location, I went in yesterday to pick up tile. This review is based on my experience. The store is full of employees that are hanging around. I asked several for help, every employee that I asked told me it wasn’t their department and said they would call someone, then walked away. I waited 30 minutes for help that never came. I figured out the answer to my question, picked up the 65 pound box of tile and paid for it. I will never go to the home depot on cherry and willow again. Oh I almost forgot to mention, there are several shady looking men walking around the parking lot look for work. I know that home depot has a area for undocumented workers, but they should stay in their area. I saw 2 men break into the power box to charge their cell phones, if they are willing to steal from a place that gives them a clean place to solicit work, then what else will they steal?

Called to ask for help locating a product of theirs, help was not what i got. I waited for a good 20 mins being passed from one person to the next trying to get a hold of the electrical department and nope. Finally gave up and called grainger where i was helped immediately and given an answer. Thanks for the let down home depot…

I come here mostly for Home stuff and to check out their Garden center. There are times people are readily available, but there are days that I can’t even find an associate to help me. It’s a hit or miss! And this is a huge place that finding an associate is a trek. I like their self check-​out when it gets too packed to use the regular registers. I would love to give this location all the stars, but just because customer service is always inconsistent that I will just have to give 3.

Jeff in Harware, Gina in Grout, and Tammy in flooring are AMAZING! I try to go to the store in the mid-​day or late afternoon, I usually have no problem with someone taking there time with me during those times and explaining to me whatever I need and the process of whatever I need to do.

Came here for my new home owners’ needs. In the 2 weeks of owning our home we have spent roughly $ 10,000-$ 15,000 on appliances, lighting, fans, plumbing, paint, etc. so far our experience has been ok. We ordered a range, fridge, washer and dryer during their 4^th of July sale and had to wait 3 weeks for delivery. Once the order arrived, our washer had a massive dent it. We refused delivery and were told that we would be contacted within 24 – 48 hours for new delivery date. +/​-​80 hrs later (after we contacted them) we find out it will be delivered Friday (one day short of a week later).
That all being said, the thing that truly prompted me to write an actual review in a negative capacity is John. I believe he’s a manager or supervisor of sorts, and his presence was required in the paint department for a return on some defective paint.
Let me start by saying, that this is NOT my first rodeo! I have done more paint projects than I can count. And the paint that was defective was purchased with 6 other colors. The only one that did not go on uniformly and had dodgy shine through spots was this one can of green. When I explained it to the very helpful young man at the paint counter, he told me that sometimes the tint is off, even though the paint is fine. He passed me off to another young man who ended up calling John over to approve the return. And this is where I got completely lost by someone else’s arrogance.
He told us that he honestly believes that there is nothing wrong with the paint or tint, but he will issue the return anyway.
It was truly condescending, considering that as a chick I had rougher hands than this pretty boy, who probably never painted in watercolor let alone an actual house.
If there was nothing wrong with the paint, then you would not have issued a return and my bedroom would not require a new coat of your most expensive primer (which I already used, on the stores advice) and my room would be a uniform bright green as apposed to a blotchy stale avocado. I really hope that this is not what Home Depot considers quality customer service.

I’ve been here maybe 5 times in the last three weeks. Couple house issues. Employees here are polite, professional, and knowledgable, happy to live near by.

Located in the same shopping complex as Costco, this Cherry Ave chain is basically the same as most other chains. Large selection with limited staff to help you. But most of your hardware needs can be found here.

The employees here are rude and ignorant. Don’t expect any help or to encounter anyone who might know what they’re talking about. «Plumbing Expert» was a joke.
Save yourself the frustration and go to Ace Hardware on Anaheim. It’s cheaper and you will probably find someone who can help you.
