Dr. Yashar is a very professional and caring Dermatologist who I would recommend to anyone.

When I first started seeing Dr Yashar for help, I felt like a leper having 5 to 12 warts on each finger along with many on the palms of my hands. I was embarrassed by them and would hide my hands so others wouldn’t see them. Some were large clusters up to ½″ in diameter and many of them deeply embedded due to their age (10 years+). I tried other dermatologists in the past but, the only treatment they offered was instructions for me to buy Compound W and apply it at home each night for 8 weeks even though I told them I already had been using it without any success.
Unlike the previous «Doctors» I saw, Dr. Yashar spent time with me using multiple treatments and prescription medications I applied at home. Now I have about 97% clearance and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I no longer feel like a leper thanks to Dr Yashar and his staff. I feel whole again.
I highly recommend Dermatology Associates of Southern California and Dr. Yashar.

Absolute joke of an office. I made an appointment 2 days prior and when I arrived. I was given papers to complete as usual. After about 10 minutes I was told I wasn’t on the schedule and I probably made an appointment with «a guy». I was told to wait some more.
After going to the exam room, I finally saw the doctor’s feet under a curtain at 57 minutes in. He left. I was told by an assistance that he probably went to an «easier» patient when I asked what’s going on and that I had to get back to work. I popped my head out 10 minutes later and said I need to go if I don’t see him in 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, I went to the front and asked for a refund of my $ 100 deductible charge I had paid with cc. (tip: don’t pay until the end)
While the girl was processing the refund, I saw the doctor walk out with a look on his face that indicated he knew there was a problem. He refused to acknowledge my concerns or apologize for the wait in any way. Without speaking, he ran off into his office.
I got the hell out of there never to return.
Bonus problem: there was a female assistance (blonde chick) that has no bedside manner whatsoever. She comes into occupied patient rooms without knocking while chewing gum. She threw a clipboard at another patient and told her to wait in the room. The patient said «and?» as if to indicate to her that the instructions weren’t clear and she was being rude. I don’t think she caught on or cared.
There was 1 nice gentleman who handled the intake process. Very professional and courteous. Hopefully he’ll find a real office or hospital and not this dump.

I am a new patient and just made my first visit. Waiting time was quick, filling out very short forms went quick and got right in.
Dr. Yashar was very professional and answered all my questions and took his time to be thorough. I had 2 biopsies and no pain, quick and out. Just the way I like it quick.
I would use him again with no hesitation.

He barely gave me a second look; ignored my age and other possibilities, so treated my rosacea as an allergy and I proceeded for another year doing the exact opposite of what I should have been doing — resulting in a great deal of pain and scarring. He even Rx’d cortisone when I specifically told him I did not want cortisone! What a jerk! Now, being treated correctly for my rosacea by another doctor, I am recovering and getting my face back — albeit with lots of scarring!

I have been a patient of Dr. Yashar’s for over five years. He is a very knowledgeable Dermatologist that shouldn’t have to give his services for free. I completely disagree with the previous review. He is an excellent Dermatologist. His staff is very pleasant as well.
