Todd listened to me, performed quality work (with the aid of his team), finished the job quickly, and priced the work reasonably. I’d trust him with any repairs, large or small. I appreciate how honest and understanding he was throughout our entire transaction. Ultimately, the work doesn’t lie. Haven’t had any problems since taking my truck in, and I’m sure glad this is where I took it. Can’t recommend this shop highly enough.

My wife and I are fairly new Silver City residents, and it’s not easy to find an auto mechanic when you don’t know a lot of folks in a smaller town. Right from the start, I got the sense that Todd is a straight-​shooter, no BS guy. I just needed some routine maintenance work on my Honda, but we’ll be bringing both our vehicles to Axis Motors for any future work. Great service at a fair price!

This shop was a real find in a small town or anywhere else! We arrived in Silver City with plans for a weekend of art shopping and dining. Unfortunately, our Mercedes SUV had developed a «sputter» on the drive up. The owner, Todd, quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired it. No fuss. No muss. No overcharge!

Todd has maintained my Dodge Ram 4×4 turbo diesel for several years and has kept it in tip top shape. No nonsense shop with no hidden charges. Got a great deal on my ball joints!

Todd, the guy who runs this place, rules! I got stranded in [wonderful] Silver City after my right front strut straight-​up broke (Yeah, separated at the shaft like a broken bone). Of course, this great hamlet was basically closed down for the weekend; the only shop that was open was a Big O and they weren’t doing anything but minor stuff on a Sat. I randomly found Performance when searching on my GPS. Todd answered the phone, and said he wasn’t open, but «always wants to help people who are traveling». Well, help he did. He took the car in the shop, ordered the part, gave us a ride and everything. He even came out late to meet us a few nights later when we came back to get the car. Didn’t charge an arm and a leg, either.
Can’t say enough about this badass dude; totally down-​to-​Earth and none of the BS tactics you get with a lot of other mechanics. If you’re [lucky enough] to live in Silver City, take your car here!
