Jenny Durling and Dale Jaques are as informative, client-​driven and level-​headed is it gets. Very pleased to have had both of them in our court through the entire process. And Dustin Sanders (at Home Financing Inc) makes the team complete. In this market, it took us a while to find the perfect home, but Jenny and Dale provided support, insight and calm at every stage of the game. When my wife and I finally found the place we wanted, the escrow was storybook. Very happy.

Jenny connected me to the seller of a listing she was working on. He hired me to stage the house which sold well over asking price. I just had to share: not only is she professional, prompt, thorough and highly experienced, but she’s also a lovely, relaxed and humorous person to work with. Jenny is the real deal.

Jenny was such a calm presence throughout our home buying process, from our initial neighborhood search to financing to looking at houses and finally buying.
She wasn’t shy about pointing out issues with potential properties, especially as they related to the specific needs of our family.
She knows the other realtors and the area inside and out, which made everything easier.
And when (after a few offers didn’t go our way) we finally found the house she was great at getting us the smartest deal possible.
She also has a great network of tradespeople to rely on (since we did buy an older home that needed work).

Jenny was extremely attentive, organized, and focused on finding the right fit for us. We were moving to LA from out of the state and were not familiar with the area at all. She did a tremendous amount of research upfront and sent us listings that we would discuss over conference calls with her. Doing so allowed us to narrow down the houses we looked at when we came to see them in person. We appreciated that she gave us her honest feedback on the properties and was really able to hone in on the «right» place for us based on our preferences.
Once we landed on a house, she was on top of it from day 1 and made sure to keep us posted on the progress as it was a new build. She took care of all the contracting while making sure we understood and were aware of all the necessary requirements. She also represented us very aggressively and fought to get us the best deal possible.
We would recommend Jenny to all of my family and friends and we will definitely use her expertise the next time we are in the market!

I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with Jenny Durling. There were a number of complications with my house that made the sale difficult and I was out of state for the whole process. Jenny had to handle everything and she was simply amazing. It seemed like very time a problem came up Jenny had seen it before, knew how to fix it and had it settled before I could worry about it. After working with her for a short time it became very clear she was experienced, smart, pro-​active and I could really trust her. It is very rare that I am this impressed with someone. the whole experience with her professionally and personally was stellar and an unexpected pleasure.
If I ever buy or sell property in the L.A. area again Jenny will be my first and only call. If anyone I know tells me they are looking for a real estate agent in L.A. I will tell them to stop looking, I know the best person in the city.

It is impossible to overstate what a wonderful experience it was working with Jenny during our search for our first home. Jenny was there for us every step of the way, from pre-​approval to close of escrow, always with a sense of humor and a limitless well of patience. I especially valued her responsiveness to each and every (often silly) question I sent her via email, and usually within just a few minutes! In the end, it took us nearly a year to settle on a home that was right for us, and in that period Jenny never once made us feel pressured to make a decision or put in an offer on a home that wasn’t right for us. In fact, she calmly and kindly steered us clear of a few homes that, in retrospect, weren’t quite right for us. Once we did have an offer accepted, Jenny proved to be an incredible negotiator, fighting for the concessions we needed, and keeping the process moving along whenever snags appeared. Jenny is a forceful advocate for her clients, and an expert in the intricacies of the Los Angeles real estate market. We feel lucky to have had her on our side and can’t imagine working with anyone else in the future!

I love Jenny. She is a gem and a jewel.
She helped us buy our first house in April. And she has the patience of a saint because we were looking for almost two years. We had a pretty hard ceiling of what we were willing and able to spend and we were in the lower price bracket for a home in the LA area. So we were competing with a lot of all cash offers and a lot of other wannabe first time homeowners as well. Just to be clear that our agent wasn’t the reason we didn’t get into a house sooner!
We looked at houses in Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Altadena, Pasadena, Alhambra & El Sereno. And eventually bought in Altadena.
I interviewed a few agents and ultimately chose Jenny because 1) she was super responsive any time I emailed. She generally answered my questions within the hour. And 2) she very honestly critiqued the house we looked at together. Instead of trying to point out only the good aspects of the houses we looked at together she gave an honest assessment of the good, the bad and the ugly. I learned sooooo much by looking at houses with her. And she helped us not compromise our housing needs when we started to get desperate! I’m not sure how many times she told me a particular house I thought I liked was too small for us:-) And she was right, of course.
And finally, I know that financially we had to have been small potatoes for Jenny. But she made us feel valued and important. She spent A LOT of time with us. She always made time, even at the last minute, to go see a house with us. She answered a million and ten late night emails from me. She just happened to be on a cruise when we finally were in escrow and she even answered emails and worked out escrow details from the cruise ship. She is that committed. She and her husband even came to our house warming party.
I would absolutely use Jenny again and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone. She is a real estate super star. This Unilocal review is long overdue. Sorry Jenny! You’re the best!!!

Jenny was great. She helped us buy our first house and then sold our condo in just a few days (for way over asking price!). I was expecting the process of buying a house and then selling a condo to take a lot longer an be more difficult than it was. She made the entire process easy.

As an out-​of-​towner looking for a house in central Los Angeles for my son, I knew enough to know that I didn’t know anything about neighborhoods. As a tech-​challenged senior I was immediately drawn to Jenny’s website because of its organized and user-​friendly format and thorough information. I found no other website that compared. On top of that Jenny turned out to be a fantastic agent – quickly educating us to what to expect in available housing, covering many places in a short amount of time, helping us distill what we were really looking for. Ahead of our timeline, we found the house that son and granddaughters have moved into and made their own. Jenny responded immediately to our questions, offering her observations based on her experience, and made the entire process as painless as possible. You won’t go wrong working with Jenny.

We were referred to Jenny by our friends. She walked us through the whole process and was on top of every single detail. We had over 15 bids and her professional honest advice were so refreshing! Jenny helped our family sell our late mother’s home in the Mt. Washington area. She is very knowledgeable in this specific area and in these times it is pertinent to have an expert like Jenny on your team. Jenny introduced me to shopping for real estate in the crazy LA market. She held my hand through the process and was always responsive whenever I needed anything. A day out looking at houses with her is a fun field trip. I recommend her to everyone and anyone in the market for a new place to call home.

Here’s some of what Jenny did for me:
–Pushed the lender to make sure I got an amazing 3.375% interest rate (!)
–Gave honest feedback on all the places we looked it. If she doesn’t like something or think it is right for you, she won’t hesitate to point out issues. But if you find the place for you, she will work tirelessly to seal the deal.
–Put up with my: looking at everything from illegal garage conversions in El Sereno, to cottages in Altadena, to lofts in Noho (one of which I ended up purchasing!), flaking out on a potential offer, disappearing to go to Vegas for a week during escrow (!)
–Made sure that we closed ON TIME, even though there were problems with the lender and escrow communicating
–Was there to guide me as a first-​time buyer through every step of the process, from the search, to the offer, and through escrow and final closing
In short, you are in great hands with Jenny! Throughout the process, I would regularly get emails from her at 10 pm on weekend nights; I wasn’t even aware she was working on several other clients’ deals concurrently until after my purchase closed — she was so responsive and quick. I was truly impressed with her persistence and patience throughout my home-​buying experience.
I had been previously been searching for almost a year with an agent that wasn’t working out and had pretty much given up all hope, when Jenny found me through a listing she was the seller agent on. I’m glad she did, because I don’t think I would have otherwise found my amazing new home!

Jenny is an extremely knowledgeable, helpful, fun and friendly real estate agent who goes above and beyond for her clients. My husband and I looked online for an agent because we wanted someone who was experienced and knew the areas we were interested in, and we found Jenny, met her and the rest is history. She gave us access to a great website that had the latest listings and information. We looked for about 5 – 6 months before we found the perfect home. Anytime we wanted to see a home or had questions we just called, emailed or texted Jenny and she was always very responsive, helpful and quick to get us in to see the homes. She was such a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone needing to buy or sell their home.

I wrote a review but it seems to have cycled off. I usually shrug that off and move on, but not for Jenny.
Jenny put up with a lot of **** from my wife and me. We took well over a year to find a home, we looked at a thousand places, we made maddeningly low offers, and we were a generally giant pain for Jenny.

It took me years to find the perfect first home for me and mine and Jenny was there for me all the way. If you’re a first time home buyer in LA with a limited budget you know that this market is seemingly impossible. The Los Feliz, Echo Park, Silver Lake hoods are especially impenetrable if you’re not an investor with a pocket full of cash. I thought I’d be looking, fighting with short sales, and haggling in bidding wars for forever until I found Jenny. Jenny has a Secret Weapon!, she’s is FAST!
In LA, if you find something you like you have to jump on it. There is just no time for waffling, faxing, or any nonsense like that. With Jenny’s 21^st century approach it’s pretty much a guarantee that your offer will be the first one to hit the sellers desk. When I was working with Jenny I knew that I could call, text or email her anytime. And when I finally found my dream house she worked tirelessly for me; she used docu-​sign, which allowed us to e-​sign all of our paperwork thus making the sometimes-​painful mess of submitting an offer now refreshingly quick, easy, paperless and painless (we signed our offer paperwork via iPhone while on a road trip!).
I know that without Jenny’s speedy work, knowledge of my search area and market experience I’d still be a house hunter and not a home owner.

Jenny Durling summed up in one word, Amazing.
Long story, but I’ll try and make it as short as possible.
My grandparents passed away, I co-​owned a house in Silverlake with
my Aunt.
Ultimately is was an estate sale.
I was living in the house, my Aunt lives in Sacramento.
I had to handle all the day to day’s. Meeting’s, Cleaning,
Maintenance, Face time, Etc.
My Aunt, very Particular, not the easiest to get along with so I
had no communication with her during the whole sale process but Jenny did a great job managing to let both of us know what
was going on separately. I appreciated that.
When she first put my home on the market she was realistic with prices in today’s market, comps, the usual stuff, but her own personal touch was the professional photographer she brought in to take amazing photo’s of the house. I think it made all the difference.
Estate sales are rough, but Jenny always informed me a day in advance of potential buyer showings, opens, and recently listed and sold houses in the area.
Jenny made selling my home seem easy. She text and emailed me
each step of the way.
She’s a no pressure Realtor, she will tell you whats going on, good
or bad.
She isn’t just a Realtor, when your around her its more like talking
to a friend you’ve known for years.
