Be a good barber has a new barber and cuts are very good they are also very friendly recommend this place the price is right, the cuts are good for children they do it with scissors or your machine as you ask

Good cuts clean very good Edwin is a specialist at doing more urban cuts as for the lady who can give you a very classy look really liked this place.

Our first time back since the new crew took over. They were very nice. Excellent $ 7 bang cut for my nine year old daughter. Edwin was terrific and took the time to layer the bangs. Comes with a lollipop and a bird pin! Best deal in town!

I highly recommend going here for any haircut or style. I have been seeing Edwin for the last 4 years and will not go anywhere else. He has been my barber since before in the Bethesda. He will cut your hair exactly how you like it and even do a great job trimming your beard. On the plus side he cleans you up with a straight razor just the the old days. He’s the best!

The shop changed hands and has improved a lot. Edwin is great and also does a great beard trim or shave.

Had given up on this place a while back but decided to give it another try after learning from someone on my neighborhood list serve emails that the shop was under new management. Very glad I did. Have gotten two haircuts from the younger man there and have been very happy both times. Quick to get the job done but definitely done carefully and neatly. Prices are great. Very happy to only pay $ 15 when most places I have been to lately are upwards of $ 25. Would be a 5 star review but took some away for the parking situation in Woodmoor and also because they only take cash and you can’t pay with a card.

I recently visited this barbershop with my father who is picky about his haircut. We had visited this barbershop a couple months ago and my dad hated it and was completely upset about his haircut. However because we were in the area we decided to stop by and give it another chance. We found out that they are now owned by different people and under new management. My father was so happy about his haircut and says that he will continue getting a haircut there with Ricardo on a weekly basis. I give this barbershop a five star and encourage all those in the area to give it a try!

I have been coming here every couple months for about five years. Obviously, I did not find it as hard as some others to communicate with the older man who cut my hair nearly every time after I clarified just what I wanted and reminded him on subsequent visits.
Regardless, all that is moot now, because a new, younger man and woman have taken over the shop from their retiring predecessors. I got an excellent cut from the woman on Saturday, including straight-​razor shaving around the ears and at the back of the neck — the first time I had that in years.
I definitely will be going back, and I encourage those who had given up to give the new team a chance.

Let me start out here by saying this place is terrible. I normally have a barber that I typically go to, but I was pressed for time and needed a quick buzz, I thought something close was convenient enough for me to accomplish this. This barbershop was close to my house and thought I would give it a try. … Biggest mistake I ever made!!! I told the guy what I wanted and how I wanted my cut to be and from the minute the clippers turned on, it seemed as if he was a rookie the way he was handling the clippers it was so aggressive and very careless and he used a stiff ass brush to comb off the little hairs he was cutting. So by the time he was done and handed me the mirror I was like wtf!!! He messed up my hair the fading was horrible and my side cuts were so uneven. He said he would fix it by fading it more so I said ok you have to do it. I mean my blind grandmother could cut better than that. I was already dissatisfied already with the whole process. So when he was done I asked to speak with the manager and she asked me what the problem was and i Asked her how long has that guy been cutting for she said a few years. I said he messed up my hair and obviously didn’t care about my concern and told me if I didn’t like it I can just walk-​out. It was ridiculous. It wasn’t about the money. I tip my regular barber $ 10 extra on top of cutting my hair. These ppl just don’t deal great with customer service. I think they can only do ppl who are old or young. Their talent level lacks, customer service sucks, shop is so out-​dated. Listen to me and don’t even give this place a try.

Just got my worst haircut ever — by a man with a tremor. Avoid!

This barber shop has 2 barbers. A man and a women. The women runs the shop. She gives good hair cuts. The man is terrible. I am still getting over the trauma of one of his hair cuts and it has been over two years.
When I went to a neighborhood party after my bad haircut everyone had a bad hair cut story about this man. I always wondered why the women did not fire the man. Later someone told me that they are a husband and wife team. If you need to get a haircut avoid the guy and go for the women.

I have tried this place 3 times and can’t get a good basic cut. I don’t ask for much but neither barber is very good at cutting hair. One has a dangerous tremor and the other can only give one type of cut — the balding man buzz.

Seemed to do a nice job for a basic razor cut. Place was clean and didn’t have to wait long. Price was reasonable too.
