Bethesda Shuttle is a small, locally owned business. Sensing a need for a reliable, value-​priced car service between downtown Bethesda and BWI Marshall airport, the owners came up with the idea of a shuttle service that could transport up to 10 passengers at a time to and from Bethesda and BWI. Our goal is to provide safe, reliable transportation to residents and travelers in the Bethesda area. While we are a shared-​ride service, all of our pick-​up locations are centrally located so the trip is relatively quick, usually somewhere between 45−75minutes, depending on traffic, weather, and road conditions. If you’re wondering why our nickname is «THE DOLPHIN,» it’s because dolphins are fast and friendly creatures and we aim to offer fast, friendly service!

Hello, I am the owner of The Bethesda Shuttle, also known as «The Dolphin.» I am a native Washingtonian and a graduate of the University of Maryland. My family resides in Montgomery county and we are diehard Redskin fans.

After working in the food and beverage industry for 25 years I decided to try something on my own. I always felt there was never a good way to get to BWI from The Washington metropolitan area. Either the price is too high or it takes two or three hours on a shared ride service. So it seemed logical to offer fast service at a low price. And that is how «The Dolphin,» which stands for fast, friendly service was born.
