History

Established in 1946.

Chick-​fil-​A, Inc. is a family-​owned business known for its customer service, clever cow advertising and delicious food. Founded in the early 1960s by the late S. Truett Cathy, the company has grown from humble beginnings. Credited with inventing the boneless chicken breast sandwich, Cathy first served his now famous Chick-​fil-​A® Chicken Sandwich inside his original 1946 diner, the Dwarf Grill. Today, the family business has expanded to partner with other families, who throughout communities in 43 states and Washington, D.C. own and operate 2,000 Chick-​fil-​A® restaurants. While the Chick-​fil-​A® Chicken Sandwich remains a menu staple, Chick-​fil-​A® also serves a variety of menu items that include Chick-​fil-​A Waffle Potato Fries®, salads, wraps and hand-​spun milkshakes and Icedream®.

I am writing about the Chik-​Fil-​A truck when it parks on Massachusetts Avenue NW, a brisk walk from Union Station. I order a Chik-​Fil-​A Sandwhich meal, which includes the signature sandwich with pickles, waffle fries, and a lemonade. The total comes to $ 10.05. The staff in the truck are quick and smile, and always honor my requests for ketchup, napkins, and honey roasted bbq packets. The receipt says that the truck comes from the Capital Centre location in Largo. I will miss visiting this truck, but can go to the location on Tech Road, nearer to my home. If you’ve been to one chick fil a you’ve been to them all. The service is always nice cant complain about that. This particular location wasnt crowded it was right in the middle of the lunch and dinner time rush. For some reason I had to wait a while to get my food and I ordered something basic a grilled chicken sandwich meal. But all in all the service was great, the place was clean and condiments fully stocked. Im sure well see each other in the near future.

Un-​uh. This was the dirtiest Chik-​fil-​A I have EVER been to in my life! I was appalled to see the condition behind the counter… I understand that spills happen at any fast food place but I hold CFA to a higher standard… why was there soda, ice cream and other liquids on the floor and no one seemed to care?
Sigh…customer service was also a disappointment. I cannot recall the last time I’ve been at CFA and had an item from my order «forgotten» by an employee… who also did NOT apologize for forgetting, but dismissively said, «oh, you’ll have to wait a while.»
10 minutes went by, and I just ended up telling another employee to forget the item.
I just can’t get over how messy it was in here… clearly PG county does Chik-​Fil-​A better than MoCo! I won’t be back.

We love Chick-​fil-​A. We eat here more often that I want to admit. Food is always good. Service is great, and the employees are always friendly. Kids love it. Breakfast is SO good. The parking lot is always crowded, and the line is usually always long (but it does go fast usually!).

I love Chick-​fil-​A. I recently discovered the «Egg, Cheese and Chicken Biscuit» for breakfast option. I am now ever more upset that the weekend is only two days long and Chick-​fil-​A is only open on one of them!
The staff is always friendly, fast and courteous.
Only downside is the parking lot is a nightmare, but what can you do?

Came here for a birthday party on what seemed like a very busy night, and received very good service. I was surprised to see that instead of having a bunch of people standing at the counter waiting for their orders, that they will give you a number, and actually bring your meal to your table. Staff was very friendly, the store was very clean, and they have a play area for small children. What more could you really ask for? Good Job.

Order came without wife’s Diet Coke. Stood at counter waiting for attention for 5 minutes and it wasn’t that busy. Three workers didn’t engage. Verbally got attention of worker who gave me a what turned out to be a Dr. Pepper. When I went to get it exchanged, no apology.

Oh My Gosh — I can’t believe I haven’t yet given a TOP NOTCH review to Chick-​fil-​A.
My wife and I have eaten lunch there numerous times, and each has been a pleasurable experience. The restaurant seems to have a reputation that just collects customers of good cheer, and we have aways found the atmosphere welcoming.
The Number-​Four Spicy Chicken Sandwich Platter is our favorite. It is always hot, fresh, and SPICY.
The waffle fries are served in generous quantity. I like to add a little salt (against doctor’s advice, but he’s not eating them). The only way to improve the fries would be to serve them a bit hotter.
We occasionally interact with the table staff, and they are always pleasant. It is the kind of place that makes me want to police my own table and toss out my trash before leaving.

Very friendly, fast paced and courteous location. Food is hot, fresh and accurate.
On my visit, they were giving free frosted lemonades! Delicious, by the way.
As always, when I’m in this area again, I will stop by. How can you not patronize a place that leads by example?
The only complaint I have for this location is the design of the waiting line for the counter. If you walk into the restaurant from the front door and you don’t know to keep far right, it’s chaos. If you start towards the counter, you have to squeeze against those already in line, to get to the end.

Above average customer service. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. My long-​time favorite item on their menu: Asian Salad.
I’ve been to several locations in my area and this location has, by far, one of the most courteous staff I’ve encountered. I once ordered an ice cream cone and got a chocolate milkshake instead, the person behind the counter let me keep the shake — AND the Icedream cone came right up in no time. Awesome possum!

I really like Chick-​fil-​A. Today I tried the vanilla iced coffee with my chicken biscuit and it was pretty good. Don’t forget to ask for a mint.
It’s really cool that they have a play area for kids too. They have kids meals with fruit cups too.
They have free Wi-​Fi too for email and surfing the net.
The staff is always willing to lend a helping hand, it’s their pleasure.
