I live nearby here and come pretty often for lunch. In the beginning this place was so slow. The employees here lacked of training. It definitely has gotten better. Other than that its another chipotle and food is good.

Unless you’re Mexican ordering in espanol don’t eat here. Rude, slow, selfish employees giving half scoops of COLD flavorless garbage. Will not be returning to this location advise others to stay away.

I had the pleasant surprise of eating at this location on Halloween. The Resturant had a special going on that I was unaware of until I checked out at the register. Everything on their menu was $ 3.00. YES, $ 3.00 per item. My salad was $ 3.00 and my son’s burritos were $ 3.00 each. I paid Nothing extra for the guacamole on the burritos for my son. The line was out the door for hours. I wanted to post this simply because the staff and servers were extra kind and helpful even though they had to serve over a hundred customers. There were so many people in and out, I would have expected them to fold under pressure. This wasn’t the case: they were friendly, patient and worked very hard to keep the line moving. The place was busy but the staff and security did an amazing job! Thanks!!!

Great service and awesome staff! I was not charged for my food cause I needed to wait ten minutes or so for the steak… That type of customer oriented attitude is so refreshing. Everyone has a great attitude. If I known their names I’d describe here o e by one…

Great service. Line moved quickly. One person in my party of 4 was not pleased with her order. Before we could even voice her dissatisfaction a manager came over and asked if our order was ok. The problem was quickly fixed and we enjoyed the rest of our meal. The employees were very patient as we went thru the line; it was the first time for everyone in the party except me. I wish the employees at the Chipotle on 14th St in DC would train with these folks!

Today for dinner I waited in line for 30 minutes. Normally I would not mind waiting but the line did just not move. Finally as I neared the front, I realized instead of helping the customers standing in front of them, the employees were fixing a very complicated fax order. As a previous fast casual employee I know that these come second to people waiting in line. I also know it is best practice to have one person handling those orders and everyone else actually helping the customers who are there. I asked to speak to the manager and found out it was the woman who was barking orders and wiping her sweat with her gloves on. As I mentioned that there are paying customers in front of her, she apologized and then threw some insults out in Spanish, not realizing that I spoke the language. This Chipotle location is a busy one but that’s no excuse for quality. Already filed an issue with a Chipotle headquarters but if anyone has better contact info you let me know.

Solid location! Super busy over lunch hour, but the line moves fast. Location is convenient to anywhere in downtown Silver Spring, but you’ll pay to park anywhere nearby. I usually get good portions at this location, which I really appreciate. Nothing worse than pulling teeth to get a reasonable amount of food, and That never happens here. Friendly staff, and it’s always well-staffed given how busy it is. It’s a Chipotle.

It’s a Chipotle. It’s nothing more or less. But if you’re craving a Chipotle burrito, this location is pretty solid. It has a decent amount of seating, and the line wasn’t too bad when I was here. I wish Chipotle’s restrooms weren’t singles, though; I always have to wait forever to go.

I have to admit, I am as one of the many Americans with chipotle addiction. However, this location sucks for lack of a better word. The manager is cheap and isn’t customer service minded at all. Items such as extra cheese I find myself being charged for here, unlike the many many other locations I have been to. I make a point to stop in bethesda or Rockville to get my chipotle when I have this one right across the street. If in home I will even settle for that crappy burrito place that starts with a Q(no idea what it is called) in silver spring. Hopefully this review gets to the managers eyes so she knows just how bad she is so she can try to change.”, because out of the dozens of chipotle restaurants I’ve been to she makes this one by far the worst.

I seriously don’t kno what it is… Don’t you have to learn how to wrap a burrito when working here sheesh… it always falls apart… Then if u ask for more rice or chicken they catch a tude like it’s coming out of their pockets… when they first opened they didn’t mind making it worth something… Dag on shame prices go up and the value of food goes down… workers suck but I like to eat so eh

The manager — Yamileth Romero’s behavior is DISGUSTING. She yells. She embarrasses her workers. She shoves food when she is upset. I thoroughly enjoy Chipotle but she is a plague to this location. You treat customers w/respect whether its busy, slow, whether you understand them– whatever. NEVER returning. Qdobas delicious anyway. Plus 2 blocks away :)

First off I love eating here. It’s a very satisfying taste to my pallets. I wish they did not try an skimp you on meat an cheese an sour cream. I love the flavor wish they could make it a drive through an offer some type of sweets. I really enjoyed the lemons they have waiting for your soda or tea. Great place to spend a $ 20

Horrible chipotle franchise– tortillas were raw and cold, manager did not care and people behind counter are not polite, nor do they even smile at you. I would not recommend this particular chipotle!

This is by far the best Chipotle in the area. It’s always busy, but the lines move fast and the employees always greet you with a friendly smile even though they are ALWAYS busy. They are also more generous with the portions at this location, which I love of course! Seating is usually available especially in the summer since they have outside seating. The few times there was no tables available, I walked to the Veterans Plaza and had my Chipotle there as I enjoyed a jazz band. There is also a parking garage right around the corner and it’s free on the weekends, so parking not an issue. Love this location and Chipotle, I could eat it every day!

Like every Chipotle in the area, or in a 5 state radius, this one is busy. Lines wrap around the tables and out the door and it’s not even lunch time. I know the East Coast is desperate for Mexican food, but seriously? I don’t get the insane craze. But every once in awhile, I crave a salad-that-equals-the-calories-of-a-burrito bowl, or a triple taco plate, and their fresh guac, much better than the guacamolito sauce juice they serve at neighboring establishments. So I go, and I wait, and I cringe at the teens lining up and SHOUTINGINALLCAPSABOUTTHENEWLIKETOTALLYFUNKMILEYCYRUSVIDEOORWHATEVERBECAUSEDAMNMYCARBROKEDOWNAND I NEED3DOLLARSTOADDSOURCREAMTOMYBURRITO… and stuff. Ugh. I’ll be going back, begrudgingly, until there is a better alternative to fresh fast Mex.

No complaints about this location. There is a parking garage about a block away so there is no issue there. The lines moves really fast and their utensils seem well stocked. The one person bathroom can be a pain but i guess all the locations seem to have that setup. I wish there were a few more outdoor tables. Great location right in downtown silver spring!

2.5 stars, I bumped them up because it’s Chipotle. So Chipotle a pretty awesome chain. The food is about the same no matter where you go, or at least it should be. The service here is pretty bad and that’s what knocks them down. For a few months earlier this year I had online orders that were just wrong — they were missing things or had unexpected/unrequested ingredients. I got lunch for my boss and they forgot the rice. That was embarrassing. They have given me things I didn’t want and can’t pick out. I complained to corporate because what is the point of me telling them what I want if they just make it up anyway. Sometimes I have to wait a long time(20 – 30 minutes), even when I order in advance. My office is strict about lunch times, so that means I don’t get to eat lunch those days. Other Chipotle locations, the fajita vegetables seem cooked well, not just mildly warmed like they are here. The meat is not as flavorful as it is other locations. I’m sad that my Chipotle addiction causes me to give them so much money. I think part of the problem is staff turnover, staff not caring enough to do a good job, and it just seems to be poorly run.

Not anywhere near what a Chipotle should be. It was crowded when I went(no surprise, Chipotle always is), but the staff was careless, served WAY smaller portions than any other Chipotle I have ever been to, and had everyone basically yelling their toppings over 4 people’s heads because the cashier was slow and backing things up. Seriously, skimping on rice??? Rice is cheap!!! Worst Chipotle experience ever… and I have been too many times to count all around the country.

Could literally eat here everyday. The food is so good and a price you can’t beat, either. Also, this is a much needed fast-food safe haven if you’re gluten free — just get a salad bowl or a burrito bowl with rice! There’s not too many cheap, gluten-free fast food options so I really love Chipotle for that. Also, it pleases many people — meat lovers, vegetarians, and vegans for the many options and combinations people can choose from. This particular location gets really busy, but they do have outdoor seating for when the weather is a bit warmer. I love that its so much food for so cheap — one of my favorite things to find! I haven’t had bad experiences like other reviewers with staff. They’ve been really friendly and helpful each time I’ve been here.
