First Home Mortgage Corporation was founded in November 1990 by Chief Executive Officer, Dave Waters. The company began with two offices and a handful of employees dedicated to a common vision; to stay local and be independent. With an experienced support staff, leading producers and the fundamental base of established relationships in the local community, the company quickly grew to a financial institution of over 35 offices, serving 17 states. Over the past 20 years, the company has grown to 400 employees and has been voted one of Baltimore’s «Best Places to Work» 2006 – 2008 and in 2011 – 2012. First Home Mortgage Corporation is a licensed full service mortgage lender, providing processing, underwriting and closing for mortgage on properties in Virginia, DC, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, West Virginia, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, South Carolina, Maine, NH, TN, & NJ.

Chris Jordan prides himself on delivering outstanding customer service to his clients and realtor partners. His professionalism and ability to listen and understand the needs of his clients have allowed for continued success. Chris started his mortgage banking career in Southern Maryland and is now located in First Home Mortgage’s Silver Spring, Maryland office. He has a degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and has lived in the Maryland/​DC area for the last 18 years. In his free time, Chris loves to travel and play golf.
