Horrible. Impossible to get in touch with and very rude over the phone and is not really interested in helping to fix the problem. After speaking on the phone for 3 minutes, I knew I needed to find a different plumber. They do not care what your schedule is and do not want to work around it at all.

Worst contractor I’ve ever encountered! Definitely avoid!
Conrod does not respond to phone calls, emails or texts, he is also incompetent in terms of his specific skill set. His diagnosis of our hvac problem was completely wrong, moreover, his proposed fix involved thousands of dollars of unnecessary work.
I cannot stress enough that you must not use this company/​individual.

Absolutely avoid at all costs.
First, even though all signs pointed to a leak, he put 5 lbs of refrigerant in, which of course is one of the things our insurance doesn’t cover, which promptly leaked out, leaving us with a bill already for several hundred dollars with nothing to show for it.
But what’s really amazing and intensely frustrating is what followed. Over the course of over 2 months (2 months 11 days and counting as of this posting), he needed to submit a plan for how he would fix the unit to our building management, and he still has not done it, leaving us without air conditioning for the entire summer, even though we were insured against such things.
Several times we spoke, and he said he would do it by the end of that week, only to neglect it and disappear again. I asked politely for an update via texts (which is how he asked to be contacted), which he ignored. After calling again, he stated «I wasn’t ignoring you, I couldn’t give you the answer you wanted». That was after he had already neglected it for a month and a half. He then basically babbled incoherently, saying, as just one example, that he had to submit something which would be approved, as if that somehow explains not doing anything for two months.
He then returned to completely ignoring it.
Note that this is also a reason to avoid HWA (Home Warranty of America), as they will send the worst possible contractors, and then there’s little you can do about it without spending many frustrating hours on the phone going between 2 – 4 different parties.
