I can’t praise this wonderful jewelers enough. I had bought several items from them in the past and was impressed by their helpful and knowledgeable service. Recently I went to them because I wanted to replace a lost amethyst and diamond ring. I asked to see their gemstone rings and mentioned that I knew I could never replace my favorite ring. I was told that Kripps could make me another just like it! I described it and they asked asked me a few questions. They emailed me pictures of several examples and I requested a few changes. The result was perfect, even surpassing the original! The price was very reasonable for a custom ring. I cannot recommend them more. They are simply the best.

Wonderful jewelers. I came here to get my mother’s engagement ring and my aunts engagement ring turned into my second wedding ring. it was a difficult task due to the mixed stone sizes, but Vin and his family managed to create a beautiful ring out of it. High quality and high workmanship. Not to mention Vin and his family are very kind. Will come here again for more jewelry needs.

I love Kripps! Vin, Martin and Vin’s Dad are so sweet and friendly and Paul, their jeweler is very talented. Kripps always does my jewelry work while I wait, as long as it is when Paul is there, usually mid-​day. I love browsing the estate jewelry and the fact that they buy my old, broken gold that I no longer use. Kripps is a wonderful jeweler! Enjoy!

My husband introduced me this jeweler after we got engaged. His family has been using them for years and I finally knew why!!! The service is great and they really work in creating unique pieces. I love all of my Kripps creations and definitely wouldn’t go anywhere else!

A long-​time family business, the staff here were all very helpful in addressing my questions and offering advice. When they quoted me on the piece I was most interested in, I could hardly believe my ears, as it was a nicer piece than a similar one at Costco, and for 10% less. Also, consumers here have the benefit of their free sizing. All work is done in-​house, so that means a lot less worry and delay with custom work, etc.

I found Kripps several years ago at the Dulles Expo International Gem & Jewelry show and have been going to them ever since! Kripps provides fantastic service and are very patient. Vin designed my wedding ring to match my engagement ring and I love it! They worked with me over email and the phone since I live about 45 minutes away. My husband wanted a specific wedding ring and they assisted in purchasing through other jewelers saving us money. They are great with repairs and quick.
When I lost a small pear shaped stone from a ring, they spend months finding a match. I really appreciate their dedication and customer service!

My sister brought our grandmother’s engagement ring to get reset. The people there told her that the diamond, which our grandmother had appraised for 10,000 dollars, was actually fake. She spent the entire day trying to figure out who could have stolen the diamond and replaced it with this new one. It was only until she went to another jeweler that she found out that it was in fact, real! Seemed like they didn’t know what they were talking about.

Amazing Service. I had several rings cleaned and repaired. My platinum engagement ring setting was severely bent and cracked, now the ring looks spectacular. My ring looks better than when I first received it!!!
I also had a 6 year old platinum and ruby ring that was in need of TLC, It was literally brought back to life. Platinum can get really dull and gray looking, which is how my ring looked. It is now blindingly bright!!! The 18k and diamond ring I bought is over 29 years old, I had prongs repaired and a thorough cleaning. I can’t stop staring at these rings, it is like I got all of them for the first time all over again.
I loved that this was a family owned establishment. I worked primarily with Ali and his Uncle (The Patriarch, who opened the store over 30 years ago), they were both extremely knowledgeable and showed me some great items while I waited. I would definitely recommend Kripps for Gems, their service is awesome and their prices can’t be beat in this area. I was also shown some beautiful custom and ESTATE pieces and Ali advised me that they do a lot of custom work. I look forward to returning with my Fiancé for our wedding bands and some custom earrings (maybe even a ring or bracelet). A+ Service.

Kripps Jewelers is a true gem! The staff are nice, helpful, and courteous. I love their designs. I have bought several pieces from them, and recently my husband had a beautiful pair of pink tourmaline earrings made for me for my birthday. They are really lovely and exactly the kind of thing I would have bought myself. I think we are lucky to have such a wonderful mom&pop jewelry store in our area as a contrast to all the chain jewelry shops in the area that sell the same designs, offering nothing truly unique. Try out Kripps if you are looking for something unique and special for a special occasion.

I literally searched years for my fiancée’s engagement ring. When I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, I decided to have one custom made. Again, I searched DC, Baltimore, and all over the internet for months. When I went to Kripp’s Jewelers, I knew my search was over. Not only did they do an exquisite job with the ring making a ‘one off’ design that was the epitome of what she wanted, they gave us an incredible deal. Without going into great detail, our ring cost us about 45% less than it would have at any other jewelry store. That includes chains and private stores. And the quality was unmatched. So is their customer service. I would highly recommend stopping by to see them for any and all jewelry needs. In an age of ‘super stores’, internet shopping, chain stores and retail overload, these guys still get it. This is a small, family run Indian jewelry store that still knows the cornerstones of a great business are great quality, great value and great customer service.

I traded unwanted gold for two very nice bands with small diamonds inserted. The labor change for a fairly small change was rather high, but okay, it’s a neighborhood place and the owner/​manager is great. My partner’s ring lost a diamond 2 months after our wedding, and we took the ring and stone back to have it repaired. We were charged a hefty labor fee, which was obviously not okay so soon after some very expensive labor to get the stones in. We like them a lot, so this was upsetting. Additionally, I went in to have my ring made smaller and was charged a hefty fee also, which I had not expected since they get to keep quite a bit of gold on a very thick ring.
I spoke with the manager about the stone repair fee, and he was very responsive and issued a refund. He really does want to do the right thing. I am giving them 3 stars because their work is generally good, but I would caution all to get a clear statement on warranties before committing.

I took my engagement ring that had lost its diamond in along with an antique diamond ring and had them replace the diamond in my engagement ring with the antique. They also needed to fix a lot of prongs and replace some tiny diamonds. They did such a great job and got the 20 year old ring looking better than it did when I got it. And they gave me cash for antique one that now had no diamond. Great service, trustworthy people.

A 4 star rating from me is practically a 5.
I traded in old pieces for beautiful new setting. They do their own jewelry making (or can order setting). Kripps also is a wholesaler to other local jewelers. Good to know!
Style is leans toward vintage and traditional, although several contemporary settings are available. Think along the lines of Estermans (in White Flint) in style but not in price.
