Business Owner

Ms. Fay has a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Child and Family Studies from Syracuse University, and a Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Maryland at College Park. In addition to being licensed as an LCMFT in Maryland, she is also a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), and the President-​Elect for the Mid-​Atlantic Division of the AAMFT. Ms. Fay has worked extensively with couples, particularly around marital and intimacy issues, and has given workshops on relationships to several organizations, including the Pro Bono Counseling Project and the Maryland Psychological Association. In 2010, the growing needs of the practice necessitated expansion. Currently the practice has three licensed marriage and family therapist associates in addition to Laurel Fay: Katie Hrapczynski, April McDowell, and Kate Opel.
