Our Rates

Our recurring cleaning services are charged a flat rate per visit. It is based on the following factors:

* Size of the home — square footage

* Number of bedrooms and bathrooms

* Activity within the home — # of adults, children, pets

* Frequency of service — weekly, biweekly, monthly cleaning

* Custom special cleaning requirements

* In order to maintain consistency with our cleaning processes, we will provide all cleaning supplies and equipment needed to give your home or office a thorough top-​to-​bottom cleaning with each visit.

* McCleaned is an independently own cleaning company servicing North-​West Washington DC and Maryland.

* Our senior staff has over 25 years of successful experience managing large commercial and government facilities. It is this experience that distinguishes McCleaned from other cleaning companies.

* McCleaned adapted the «best practices» and «standard operating procedures» (SOPs) used in large facilities to the residential market. Your home or office will be cleaned with the same attention to detail that large facilities get. Julian M.

Manager

Julian’s background is in Hospitality Management, Interior Design and Project Management. He has over 25 years of successful experience managing large commercial and government interior design projects. It is this experience that distinguishes his management skills. He expects nothing but the best from his employees and in turn his clients receive top notch customer service.

As an interior designer, Julian was the lead designer in some of the largest commercial/​government projects in the National Capital Region during the last decade.

Julian believes that providing personalized care to the clients is the key to McCleaned’s success and he is always available to talk with them. His always available by phone, text or email.

Julian plays tennis, volunteers with the local CYO, the Girl Scouts, (serving as the «Cookie Dad») and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Julian is C.O.R.E Training Certified, regularly participate in industry forums and continuous education programs

Julian and his team did bi-​weekly cleaning for me before I got deployed and also did a move-​out cleaning for me. They are awesome and clean EVERYTHING! (even did my dishes by hand) They are very trustworthy I never have to worry about them being alone in my house. The apartment looks brand new and smells so nice when ever they leave. Very pleased and would highly recommend!

When we moved out of our rental, we used their service and were super pleased. They really cleaned every nook and cranny — from the oven, baseboards to the window sills. Couldn’t have been more pleased with the service and loved that it was a flat fee so we didn’t have to worry about pre-​cleaning to ensure the quote based on time would stick. Would recommend this company to anyone asking.

Diego and Julie are awesome. My husband and I were moving out of state and between the movers and getting on the road, we didn’t have time to do a move out clean on our apartment. We called on a Tuesday and Diego and Julie came on Saturday. After the THOROUGH clean, Julie texted me pictures so I knew how everything looked. They cleaned out any remaining trash from our unit and did an amazing job on cleaning our apartment. I am so happy! My mom actually went by the apartment the next day to take care of something for us and her first words were, «Who cleaned this place and what is their phone number?!» — Needless to say I will be recommending McCleaned to anyone in the Silver Spring area — they are awesome!

Based on reviews here and elsewhere, we hired McClean to do weekly cleaning of our home. We have 2 dogs and 2 children, and after each visit, you would think that magical people who make no mess live here. The team Julian sent is wonderful; they’re attentive to every detail in our house, and work around the boxes we haven’t unpacked yet. They use products that don’t give me a headache, which is terrific and pretty rare. They do such an incredible job, and communicate with me via text and email about each visit, letting me know when they’re on their way. Each time they visit I’m so thankful I hired them.

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but this begs commentary. I took a break from cleaning service while I was renovating. Needless to say, I was in desperate need of help as a single mom with 3 jobs, 2 boys, 2 dogs and school work! I contacted McCleaned to start again with weekly cleanings. They came on a Thursday and got my home cleaned wonderfully. I chose them to come Mondays moving forward. Low and behold Mon comes and the house is still very clean so I almost cancelled, to have the begin the following Monday. The house was clean… Didn’t think they could make it any nicer! As I walked passed the laundry explosion, I suddenly had a change of heart. I called Julian (owner) who had Carol come at 7am sharp. I met her at the door, gave her some directions and went to work. I came home to ALL laundry folded and put away, my hall junk closet organized and cleaned… Dusted Windows and fans. It’s as if, she dug deeper into the details!!! Thank u McCleaned for your continued great service. You make it hard to leave YOU!

I’ve used McCleaned twice now and had a great experience both times. Most recently, I contacted Julian to have my apartment cleaned after moving out. I didn’t realize that our power was turned off because our lease ended so unfortunately, they had to clean without the vacuum. It was no problem at all and the two women who came really went the extra mile to sweep my entire apartment. Great service!

Julian and his team did an amazing job from start to finish. I needed a service to come on short notice for a move-​out clean and contacted Julian to set it up. He communicated every step with me and his team did a great job. I didn’t have many advanced cleaning supplies but they came prepared with all of their own. For a very reasonable price they left the place spotless in about two hours and were very flexible with me coming and going throughout. I would highly recommend McCleaned not only for the work but also for the personable and very reliable customer service throughout the process!

While I have not continued with this service, I do have updates to my review. After reading my original review, they offered me a second free cleaning to apologize for the mixup. They admitted that the miscommunications about the original free cleaning were their fault and just human error. Something about information getting lost in multiple email threads and making a mistake when copying and pasting. I understand fully that sometimes people just make mistakes, so I decided to take them up on it and give them a second chance.
The new free cleaning was in response to my original Unilocal post. Then as we were trying to schedule a date, they asked me to either book the cleaning sooner than what would work for me or take my post down until I got the second cleaning as it might affect business. While I sort of understand that argument, I feel it goes against the nature of Unilocal and felt really uncomfortable with it. I am updating my review as was asked and am really trying just to be as objective as possible. The back and forths again got too complicated and so we decided not to accept the second cleaning.

They did a fantastic job and completed my whole apartment in just a few hours. I had to leave the apartment with my dog who barks and when I returned it was very well cleaned without needing any of my supervision. They are very professional and king. I plan to have them back again!

Professional, organized, flexible and the best part — tidy! The people behind McCleaned are great people. I was surprised to see my apartment looking so great, and if there are ever any concerns I can surely count on them to make sure my concerns are addressed and make my experience with the cleaning service a lot smoother. I like that the cleaners do not move your things around, and they just placed the items that were on the carpet on top of the dresser within view. I’ve had experiences with cleaning services in the past where the cleaners move your things around and it is difficult to spot it, but the cleaners here are very considerate and careful with what you have.

We just started using McCleaned two weeks ago on our house in NE Washington DC after an arduous process of interviewing and researching cleaning companies. The reasons we hired McCleaned over other companies were threefold. First, we were looking for the most reasonably priced cleaning company. McCleaned’s service estimate was the lowest out of about ten companies that I interviewed. Second, I was impressed with their website. They have an actual cleaning checklist that they go through – this means that I knew exactly what to expect. Third, they were willing to be flexible on timing. For example, if we are planning on being away on vacation for a while, they are willing to skip a week here and there or reschedule for a different day when necessary – other companies we were talking to were going to have us locked into a schedule.
After two weeks of using McCleaned, there are a number of things I appreciate. I love that they are willing to do «extra» things when I ask (things like, «This week, can you clean the stove,» or «This week, can you do the outside of the windows.»). They aren’t afraid to work around clutter where necessary so I don’t feel like the house has to be totally spotless. The owner, Julian, is super friendly. And finally, most importantly, they explicitly ask for feedback on how they’re doing, or things I want them to do differently. As we just start out and build a relationship, this is really important for me.
I’ve given them a 4 out of 5 since it’s only been a couple weeks, but I’m planning on coming back to change the review to a 5 if it continues to be this great!
