History

Established in 1995.

In 1995 Rob opened a second office in Southern Montgomery County to meet the demand and to better service customers in the densely populated areas close to the city.

The office participates with the American Heart Association to bring Awareness to heart disease. All employees are involved and the company donates to this special cause. Additionally, we provide free cleanings through Cleaning for A Reason for women undergoing cancer treatments.

The Silver Spring Merry Maids office has been the recipient of many awards. In 2010 Merry Maids of Silver Spring represented all franchises with the Team Member of the Year Award – the top honor in Merry Maids for Team Members. In 2015 this office was recognized locally when Ike Leggett presented us an Outstanding Achievement in Recycling for our commitment.

The Silver Spring office services the towns of Silver Spring, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Rockville, Kensington, Leisure World, Beltsville, Calverton, and NW DC off of 16^th street

Meet the Business Owner

Rob M.

Business Owner

Rob M. started his career at Merry Maids right out of college in 1988. He is a proud graduate of James Madison University in Virginia where he received a BS in Communications and Psychology.

Rob began his career working with his father, Bob. He cleaned houses and worked to develop training programs for new home cleaning specialists. He led the Marketing effort in the 90’s before taking over as President in the late 1990’s.
