Terrible … Air Conditioning in the BEDROOM doesn’t work. maintenance gave me the okie doke for two weeks… after complaining. then told me close the vents in the other rooms…
The situation was remedied with a Portable AC unit as loud as a generator…

Ok, update on the apartment complex that I was initially considering. After repeated contacts and visits with these folks, my final answer is a no. In fact, I would opt for a hell no. I do think the property itself is still nice and has good features about it, but having been afforded the opportunity to visit at different times on various days, I have noticed more that is not for the good. Namely, there are a lot of kids and they do play in the parking lot. The basketball court nearby actually looks like a tourney is going on when the weather was nice. Come to find out, the place takes Section 8; I have no problem with folks who have limited income, but the truth of the matter is that many who do receive the benefit don’t pay much for rent and in turn don’t care much about the property or take care of it like it’s there own. The entire January Drive area is hood-​box fans in windows when there’s AC, clothes hanging on balconies-​even after the leasing agent told me that a particular person was warned 4 times and messed up/​zig zag blinds in the windows where either folks were nosy peaking out or cats or kids play in them. February Circle back end apartment buildings are just a tad shy of the ones on January-​but the kicker with those is that half are the «dog» buildings, so that could be a negative. If you have a dog, you automatically have to go to a raunchier building. November Circle is probably the best area. The «front» (off April Ln) buildings on November Circle and February Circle are nice but the rest is pretty hood, IMHO. On 2 subsequent visits to the property, other tenants were in the office complaining of different issues-​one sub-​Saharan lady had maintenance to enter her building w/​o notice and apparently fix the wrong toilet. She stated her argument in the middle of the office in front of everyone, so I wasn’t being nosy, but I came in late and I couldn’t hear the entire story, but got that much. Her bottom line, which I was clear on, was that they entered her apartment w/​o letting her know they were there and she almost called the police. NOT GOOD! Don’t want folks in and out my place w/​o warning or notice and I don’t want management discussing this with me in the public. While the lady could’ve asked to have taken it in an office, mgmt should’ve moved to do that first-​ESPECIALLY so a potiential new resident wouldn’t be biased from it. Finally, my last and biggest concerns of what really broke the camel’s back is the downright tackiness of the staff as a whole. And with them being this messy on the front end, I could never see living there and being locked in a lease to HAVE to deal with the unprofessionalism on a regular basis. While the new girl was very sweet, being new, she also provided quite a bit of incorrect information such as the ability to pay an add’l $ 20 for new appliances. She also is overwhelmed which comes out in a lack of timely follow up. This lack initially caused me to miss out on an apt that I liked because someone else placed a hold on it while 3 – 4 days went by and I’m awaiting her call to address some questions I had. Thereafter, I immediately went to visit again and she told me that 3 various units were vacant when I was looking to move, so I drove to each and selected 1 I liked. She told me when it would be ready and to apply and place a hold on it for $ 99, so I did. The following Monday after speaking with her to confirm my app went through, she then tells me that that unit was not the style I wanted and the price is higher. I told her I would come over now to discuss it and to see any other options. Once there, we visited another unit that was renovated. It was beautiful! But when we went to open a window, a roach came out (1705 January-​3^rd floor), so that was that! I told her that I would consider a different building and/​or just going with the wrong style unit since I liked the building and get back to her that day or tomorrow. The next day, I spoke with her and her manager, Leith. Leith and I were then on the phone alone when she had to transfer phones and she told me about the $ 20 appliance upgrade being inaccurate. Apparently I was them switched to another person, & I asked her then if she could work down the price of the one that I put the hold on since it was their error in not ensuring it was what I wanted and I clearly would not have applied otherwise. She then went to tell me that someone else has a lease on it and «it wasn’t what you wanted anyway». WOW! SOO, you they lied from the gate about the place being available and then she had the audacity to tell me that I didn’t want that style anyways so what difference does it make? WTF? She cleaned it up, but the overall disorganization and right hand having no clue about the left is dumb. She was to call me back and I still hadn’t heard from her-​2 days later. They wasted a lot of my time, my $ 27 for the app fee and put a ding on my credit for nothing. I would not recommend this place and have req my $ 99 back
