I stopped in at this Starbucks. The person who rung me up at the register seemed to have come down with ZPS, Zero Personality Syndrome. She didn’t say anything like«Hi, Welcome to Starbucks,» she didn’t smile, she just looked miserable. I told her what I wanted and she took my order professionally and got me everything, including the cup of water that I asked for although she chose the smallest possible size for me. She didn’t ask if I wanted anything else, and she didn’t even announce the total. She just stood there like a zombie for the remainder of the transaction. She took my card and politely handed it back to me but didn’t say anything, not even a thank you although she did barely mumble something that might have been a «thank you» but I wouldn’t know, because I couldn’t hear what she was saying.

This starbucks store is very cozy. They have the regular assortment and are very friendly! Sad, that usually all seats are taken …

I love people watching and I love when a barista doesn’t charge extra for a single pump of syrup in my coffee. I love you, nice barista. I love you all. Goodbye

Larger than average *$, standard service, lots of tables but people seemed to be looking for outlets. Fine for a quick caffeine fix in the Sprung. Sidewalk tables if the weather is clement.

I like this Starbucks. It’s almost always crowded, but generally the line moves quickly and the drinks come out reasonably fast. The quality of this Starbucks is a cut above some of the others in the DC area — the employees are pretty much with it and the drinks are right(sometimes rare in downtown DC). Plus, I like their space. Not bad!

It’s a small starbucks and seating can be hectic. I came here with a stroller and I sweated trying to navigate through to order my drink, pay, wait to get my drink, and get out. It was a horrendous experience. But my caramel macchiato came out as expected. So 2 starts for that. But organization of the store is just unthinkable.

This has to be my favourite Starbucks. It has a super chilled vibe about it and the kind of staff that actually become your friends and deserve HUGE trophies for always going out of their way to get your order done. The seating is limited but the waiting is short(apart from morning rush). Oh another thing — free, fast wifi is available! Whoop whooooooop! **BIGUPSTOTHESTAFFMEMBERBYTHENAMEOFGINA, MOSTHARDWORKINGGIRLEVERANDMAKESTHEBESTCOFFEE**

I have visited this Starbucks outlet in Downtown Silver Spring on a number of occasions and have always been satisfied with the service here. It can get really crowded but the service is spot on.

Quick service, well made drinks, but there were boxes stacked on half the tables and in the stair way. Also, tables were kind of messy and could use a couple more wipe downs during the day.

Not the fastest in the morning but they’re trying. Quite small on the inside but there are plenty of seats outside. In the evenings, Ellsworth is sometimes blocked off for road traffic making this a great spot to enjoy a coffee while watching people. The usual coolers(one in the wall, to save space) of pastries and drinks for your caffeinated pleasure.

I am a proud regular here, as I work across the street, and most of the morning staff know my drink order by now. They are quick, and this is important since they are always packed. For some reason it is always super humid inside this store. My drinks taste pretty consistent, and the few times they’ve been incorrect, they remake it immediately. My only complaint is that I wish they had more seating inside and out.

There are pros & cons to this Starbucks. Although the location is absolutely fabulous(if you live in downtown Silver Spring and you are walking), parking can most definitely be a headache(especially if you go to this one on the weekends. In addition to that, the line tends to get pretty long and there NEVER seems to be enough places to sit. But then again on the flip side, the drinks are always pretty good and the staff is always cool, so… I would come to this Starbucks again, but I’d also be willing to leave quickly given the circumstances at the time!
