History

Established in 2005.

This restaurant is a result of many years of experience; Chef hassan ZIrari came to the us in 1987 after being selected as the best cook in Marrakesh, Morocco. He was the head chef in Marrakesh restaurant when first opened, and FEZ restaurant in Bethesda. In 1995 he made the success of Taste of Morocco in Arlington, and he moved to Taste of Morocco, Silver Spring in 2005, and since then this restaurant is known to have the best Moroccan food. Many others tried to imitate, but Chef Hassan is the original.

Meet the Business Owner

Amir M.

Business Owner

Originally from Fes Morocco, with a college degree in Law. Came to the US as a musician with one of the best bands in Morocco (abderrahim Saouiri) playing flute. Amir studied Sound engineering, web developing and business when he first arrived to the US. Worked as a programmer engineer in Radio station, and chose to have a business. He was was one of the partners in Taste of Morocco, and he bought out his partners after knowing all about the business, to develop his ideas, and use his knowledge in computers and music to make a successful business. Amir is known as one of the best singers in the area: www​.mohamedamir​.com. He has other businesses in Morocco, and he travels between the US and Morocco.
