Specialties
Local * Seasonal * Farm Fresh. We serve comfort food that reflects the Bounty of the Seasons (Amish roast chicken, organic salmon, sustainable seafood, Maryland soft shell and jumbo lump crab, artisan pastas, addictive mac & cheese, hearth-oven pizza, fresh salads) with a commitment to using seasonally-inspired, local ingredients. We believe in «Eating Local & Being Local.» We visit local farmer markets weekly to purchase produce, meat, yogurt & eggs. Try our new Daily Dough to Go and Mini Dough to Go!
We also have daily specials, including Monday — Kids Eat Free, Tuesday — ½ price wine bottles, Wednesday — Buy 1 Get 1 Half Price Pizza or Burger, Thursday 3 for $ 30, Friday and Saturday evening — Chef’s Specials, Saturday and Sunday — Make Your Own Bloody Mary Brunch.
History
Established in 2009.
The Daily Dish is a play of words that reflects the passion of its two owners, who believe in serving comfort food with a twist — food that is seasonally inspired, locally sourced and farm fresh.
Jerry, the Executive chef and co-owner, was born in Ephrata, Pennsylvania and has a Mennonite background. His parents owned a grocery store that focused on locally sourced and natural foods long before the concept really existed. He grew up with a love of cooking and after working as a private chef and then a line cook and sous chef for Jean Michel in Bethesda, he started his first business, a boutique catering company. He enjoys making wholesome food that is reminiscent of family dinners surrounded by his parents and six brothers and sisters
