History

Established in 1979.

Woodland Horse Center was established by Mr. Mike Smith as a place where all ages and levels of riders could fine quality instruction in a fun-​filled environment.

Meet the Business Owner

Michael S.

Business Owner

Mike Smith owns three central Maryland horse centers and Woodland Horse Center was his first! He has been teaching riding for more than 40 years. He holds a master’s degree from the British Horse Society and an Instructors Certificate from the prestigious Potomac Horse Center in Maryland. He rides and trains to the 4^th level in Dressage, and he has trained and competed with A-​level hunters and jumpers.
