Their kalua pork is the bomb! Definitely recommend it. Tasty mac salad too. All of the food I have ever tried here has been great. The employees at aloha kitchen are always really nice and the restaurant is clean! This is one of my favorite places to eat in Silverdale.

Aloha Kitchen is basically my go to place. The staff is great and the food is even better. I still haven’t tried anything that I haven’t liked!

This was my first time having Hawaiian food and I was not disappointed. I had some sort or pulled pork, I can’t remember the name of it. But it was very good. It was a little too salty for my taste but nothing I couldn’t deal with. The flavor was still very good. I tried a bit of my friend huli huli chicken. And that is what I will be getting next time. So. So. Good. Their macaroni salad is also quite good. The service was so fast too, we got our food probably five minutes after we ordered. I was super surprised. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

It’s been a while since I was here(when they were at the other location). Went back this past February and have been back several times since the food is much improved as is the portions. This ohana run restaurant is very friendly and atmosphere takes you back to the islands even if only during dinner.

We picked up take out from here and I found it to be just ok. Not sure if I will will be back but my Hawaii raised boyfriend enjoyed it and has had lunch here several times. The mochiko chicken was good but overall it was too expensive, the meal took too long(40 minutes and I called it in for carry out!) and I was disappointed that they did not have kids meals or some of my favorites(like musubi’s!) I guess I will be making the drive to the Hawaiian barbque in Bremerton or cook our favorites at home :-(

I can’t fault them, I like the look. I loved the ahi. I also had a burger and fries. I would never purposefully order spam so I wont be trying that. It was great for what it was. Prices are a little steep, but I think that’s because I’m from the east coast. Everything here has a west coast cost extra tax. Staff was friendly, they welcomed everyone who came in. They spoke with guest and didn’t seem pestered by the questions.

I love this place! It’s small and laid back. Fair portions and fair price. I feel comfortable bringing my baby here, it has a good family atmosphere. It’s always clean and the staff provides quick & friendly service. Kalua Omelette & Kalua Nachos have the same shredded pork that is absolutely delicious. Mochiko Chicken is seasoned so well that it doesn’t need a sauce but it comes with a pretty tasty one. Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl is fresh and beautiful. I can’t wait to try more of the menu.

The food is good, the staff is pleasant to deal with, the prices are a little high but that would be my only real complaint. When you eat here they make you feel like you are part of the Hawaiian culture and give you that warm Hawaiian welcome no matter what the temperature is out.

I would say everything we order is good. However the kalua pig has way too much liquid smoke. They also use the same overly liquid smoke meat in their lau lau, which I’ve NEVER had before in a lau lau(and I’ve had lau lau maaaany of times(Hawaii girl) the saimin and adobo are also very bland. What I love now is that they are giving better portions of their ahi poke. They used to only give a small portion and for the price it was pretty steep. The servers ALWAYS have plenty aloha. I keen going back because I’m an island girl that needs a taste of home sometimes. But I just wish the above mentioned items were fixed. This is the only reason I am giving 3 stars. Fix the over use of liquid smoke and this restaurant is golden.

I was born & raised in Hawaii & go back often. With that said, the saimin here is HANDSDOWNTHEBEST I’VEEVERHAD! As we say in Hawaii, «ONO!!!» Also had the Portuguese sausage eggs & rice. «Broke da mout’!» Also, they play Hawaiian music via iradio. It’s almost better than being«home» as the sun was actually out & we sat at the table by the window & enjoyed our meal!!! Aloha Kitchen no ka oi!!!(That means they’re THEBEST!!!) Shaka, brah!!!

Aloha Kitchen almost always satisfies my craving for local style food. I love their garlic chicken, loco moco, saimin, mac salad, and spam musubi. The service is always good, the atmosphere is nice, the food comes out quickly, and it’s always delicious. The only downside(which is a very minor one) is that garlic chicken is available only once a week, and that they don’t have chicken long rice. Again, that’s super minor. Seriously, eat here — but don’t order all the garlic chicken or there will be none left for me!

I’ll start by saying the staff was very friendly and polite. I ordered the sweet and sour spare ribs and Huli Huli chicken. In Reality I was dying for the Mac salad. It was good. The first thing I noticed, that they probably had no control of, was that it was freezing! Very cold. Then the service was slower than I would have preferred, but no big. The best thing ever in the WORLD, freaking guava cake!!! Ever!!!

Located in the Ross plaza this place has potential. My fiancée, mom, and I went here on a whim decision because we wanted to try out their food. We all love Hawaiian food, but this one was just ok. The things I would say that stuck out were their good service and décor. The lady who served us was very polite and nice. I ordered the saimin, the broth was tasty, but was not something I would order again. It’s on the bland side, I think a little more flavor on the broth this would be a killer dish. The mac salad had way too much mayonnaise and lacked some of the salt factor. Other than that, I would consider revisiting this place if I’m in the area, but I would probably order different items.

I just tried to order 2 five packs of spam musabi That’s what two cans of spam? At noon. And for now the third time I was told, we don’t have any spam !!! Is this a Hawaiian restaurant or not? I am beyond pissed. Three times in a row. They advertise five packs, yet for some reason they never can make them for us. Unreal. When we walk in the people are nice. I’m not hating, but come on 2 five packs is not unrealistic, YOU’REANHAWAIIANRESTAURANT!!!

Fast friendly service, reasonable prices, amazing food only thing missing was a changing table in the restroom. Nicely decorated and clean. Without question will come here again there is so much more on the menu I need to try!

Great place! We were seated immediately and shortly after had our orders taken. There was a birthday party going on however we received our food very quick. You’ll get generous portions here and at a good price. The spam musubi was good too, it was a little sweeter than what I’m used to but still good! Will come back again. Thanks for the great service!

I use Unilocal constantly when I’m traveling to find good local food. This place was not good — at all. I usually only go for four stars or higher but this place was close to my hotel so I ignored the three-ish stars. First, they’ve been in their current minimall location for six months and still don’t have a roadside sign. I had to circle twice to find it. Ordered the Huli Huli plate which comes with two scoops rice, one scoop mac salad. To get two scoops mac and one scoop rice will cost you an additional $ 2.25. The food came faster than you can cook chicken so it was clearly not made to order but already done. When I got in the car the overwhelming scent was of cafeteria food and back at the hotel it was so mediocre. The chicken was off-color brown, the skin still on, the mac salad mealy, the rice overlooked. I’m giving it two stars for simply being a Hawaiian restaurant. Love Hawaiian places, just not this one.

Last time I was here was in 2011, when they were still in the bigger building in the Chuck E. Cheese area of Silverdale. Now they are in the Ross Plaza, in a smaller building. Since it had been 4 years, I decided to give them another shot. I like the space they are in much better. It feels more comfortable to sit in, so I do like that they have moved. Their prices seem better than before, much more wallet friendly. And the 3 times I have gone, the service is a lot nicer than I remember, and everything came quickly and with a smile. We have gone between lunch and dinner usually, when it’s not that busy. When I go, I share a combo plate with extra rice with a friend(which is PLENTY to share, and a good deal). I’ve had the Kalua Pork(with and without cabbage), the Huli Chicken, and the Hamburger Patty with Gravy. All of which were good, and I would get again. Their rice has improved, it’s cooked well and flavorful. The mac salad is also good. The only thing I got that I didn’t particularly like was the Sweet and Sour Spareribs. They have a very Filipino taste to them, and if you aren’t used to it, or like Filipino food then I wouldn’t recommend it. They seemed to have improved over the years, so I would make this a more regular destination for me if I am in Silverdale.

Being Hawaiian and growing learning most of these dishes myself, this place is pretty dang authentic! Let me start by saying the service is amazing! The few times I have been in there, my group sat down quickly and drinks were brought out right after we ordered. Also, a co worker and I stopped in for lunch and was in a hurry, so we called in and put in a order to eat there. It was awesome! We get there and sit right down, eat our food and get a guava cake to go! In and out in 15 min. Pupus(appetizers): The spam musubi is awesome and great presentation. Lomi salmon is salted just right and I like mine with very finely diced tomatoes and theres meets my standards. My personal favorite is the ahi poke! Great job with this dish, not to much shoyu, so the salt doesn’t kill the taste of the fish! Main Dishes: The mochiko chicken is to die for! I get it every time I come in. I make my own and the breading just isn’t the same as Aloha Kitchens! Another favorite is the what I call a «heart attack» waiting to happen. The loco moco dish is always good! if your looking for a hang over cure, this is your dish! This dish is Rice, two beef patties on top of the rice, over easy eggs on top of the patties; all smothered in brown gravy! Growing up always eating ramen and still do, the ramen dishes are really good. Like I have said in another review, its all about the broth! Not sure how they do it but the broth is super good! Definitely cannot go wrong with spam, eggs, wontons, and green onions in your soup! I noticed this last time I went in, they have an ideal protein menu! I though this to be pretty cool, since I know Hawaiian food definitely is not the healthiest. Guava Cake is the best I have ever had! Now for the reason this place is a 4 and not a 5 star review. Call me picky but the mac salad is just ok. This may be a lame reason for not a 5⁄5 review but mac salad to me, should not taste like you just mixed noodles and mayo, then dress it with a little pepper on top to make it look like you added seasoning. Other than that, I high recommend this place, they do a really good job of making authentic Hawaiian food!
